A nameless bar, with a faceless crowd.
~ ~ ~
Compared to the outside world and its maddening need to remain ever flowing at a dizzying pace the atmosphere of the bar was nearly stagnant. Subdued lighting provided a relaxing atmosphere in which a person could easily get lost, free of the judgmental eyes present beyond its solid doors. Thin trails of smoke clung to the low ceiling and danced about the dim lighting with every shift of the bar's inhabitants. Somewhere to the left a band was playing, their music easily capturing the minds of the listeners and transporting them to a place of peace amongst the stars.

The setting was tranquil and a true slice of paradise to the petite woman whose amber orbs were hooded. Dark lashes nearly hid her molten gaze as she simply allowed herself to float amidst the notes of the music, a whiskey held lightly in her hand as her only anchor to the physical word. Every so often she would shift with a soft inhalation and an equally soft exhale, dark lashes barely moving as she blinked lethargically.

Scattered sparsely around her were other beings in a similar state, their gazes as distant as her own. She was slouched in her chair slightly, legs folded neatly at the ankle beneath her table. Only when the ice cubes in her drink shifted, melting slowly, did she bring the glass to her lips before returning to her previous position of statuesque contentment.

A wave of music washed over the bar, it was… melancholic in it’s very nature; calling up feelings of slight regret, peace and maybe just a tad wonder at how you ended up at a bar at the end of the Universe. There was a man, sitting simply in the corner of the establishment, he was clothed in a simple robe and cloaked - two ice, blue orbs seemed to radiate from out of the darkness, as well as the point of the cigar he was smoking, smoldering with an amber point.

This man wasn’t Jared Ovmar, or at the very least, he wasn’t Jared Ovmar anymore, for Jared Ovmar had been a Sith Lord - a man who killed, stole and dominated men and women alike in a stoic fashion of disinterest. Anaya had broken this nature of the metaphorical beast and after that the guilt set in, his emotions had come back to him and finally feelings started to plague him.

A long journey was now finally wrapping itself up and here he sat, at a simple bar, minding his own business. His feet resting gently on the table in front of him, a drink in his hand… when fate itself decided to deny him the simple pleasure of enjoying his glass and smoke in silence.

For in his very essence Ovmar was a curious man and when he felt the familiar presence piercing through the cloud of nostalgia that permeated around him… the not-Sith Lord felt intrigued to say the least.

His mind reached out towards her and a whisper would reach her delicate ear.

Come to sing me a lullaby?

Amber orbs smoldered like the embers of a dying fire and heavy lashes slowly lifted to expose those predatory orbs in all their glory. Again she lifted the glass to her lips, the ghost of a smile causing her lips to tug upward as she took a slow sip of her drink. Ice cubes clinked softly against the glass and she tilted her head back a bit to look over her shoulder.

Those feral eyes found their prey easily because she'd known he was there the whole time, it was her way. For reasons she cared not to linger upon she had let him be and instead focused upon the mending of her own soul, a tedious task that the little bar could only barely aid in. Her eyes caught his and her lips curved upward in a more prominent smile as she reached out with her own mind, caressing his ears with a whispered reply before she turned away.

"Only if you wish me to."

‘Always and ever, my Lady.’ the SIth Lord responded smoothly, before going back to his own drink and ponderings. It wouldn’t do to give too much attention to the fiery lass, that wasn’t part of the game, not the real one at the very least. Postering needed to be done, a general lack of interest had to be projected, all a ritual as ancient and old as the lightsaber some still carried to this day.

Closing his eyes Jared let himself drift on the melody of the song and just for a moment his worries and doubts were gone.

A low laugh escaped her lips at his response, her eyes closing slowly as she basked in the tranquility of the bar. The music continued on as it had before, the tempo low and soothing as the languid smoke in the air grew thicker. With a soft exhale molten orbs slipped open and she gazed up at the ceiling, the Force swirling around her gently as she sought to give him the lullaby he desired.

The music shifted in the bar and took on a lighter note. Taking advantage of the song Anara began to sing, however, her lips never physically moved. Her eyes glimmered as she gazed up at the smoky ceiling, her eyes unseeing as she projected herself into his mind.
"Never seen a bluer sky
Yeah, I can feel it reaching out
And moving closer
There's something about blue"

The feel of her lips brushed against his ear once more, the weight of her arms slipping around his shoulders as she leaned her head gently against his own. He felt it all and could even see it, within his mind, but to the eyes and ears of all around Anara never moved nor made a sound.

"Asked myself what it's all for
You know the funny thing about it
I couldn't answer
No, I couldn't answer

Things have turned a deeper shade of blue
And images that might be real
May be illusion
Keep flashing off and on"
She sang for only him. Shifting her arms moved from around his shoulders, a hand lingering as she moved around him. In his mind's eye her eyes were aglow, a soft smile upon her lips as she continued to sing. Slipping into his lap she straddled him, her hands smoothing up his chest as she leaned forward to rest her forehead against his.

"Everything is clearer now
Life is just a dream, you know
That's never ending
I'm ascending"
Her voice softened with the music and her lips brushed his as she sang the last verse, her weight upon him slipping away as her visage faded from his mind.

Blinking slowly Anara returned to herself, shifting to take a sip from her glass, fully aware of the game they were playing.
