Moonlit Stroll

After he made his way into the family after speaking with [member="Ahtemis"] and assigned to the appropriate places he had permission to travel the sea, to the outskirts of a small area that opened into a small lagoon that had only one way in or out, He kept himself in his robed masked self but with a few altercations to it he had several assortments of amulets and other artifacts and vials filled with various liquids and such that he would need for his project. As he approached the lagoon in question he knew of the company he brought with him that wanted to tag along The Donna Ahtemis was among them, He just sat there and waiting till they got to the entrance before he can start the next phases of his project he will need to ask them to keep out till he was done once they got close enough but for now he just double checked that he had all his tools

[member="Ivory Stroud"],

[member="Rapax"] was one of his associates and as such had already explained his plans to Vork and as such Vork had approved and asked to come along when he created the workshop. He stood behind the witch elder who was also one of the few who knew about Darth ruinous. He had his blade as well as his lightsabre. He waited to see who else this man of his had offered to come along as well.

Well this had come as a surprise to me.

I had known when I acquired Dohmus Prime that the planet had many secrets I had yet to discover. I had even accepted that finding them all in my own lifetime was an impossible fantasy. Acquiring the assistance of the shaman Rapax had likely meant we would uncover a few, eventually. What I had not expected, was for him to find the lagoon. Not a typical lagoon, obviously, but he had called myself and my caporegime to accompany him if we were to so choose. Something was here.

He looked exactly like a typical shaman as I spied the gurlanin. Dark, shrouded robes; trinkets and phials of all kinds hung from his garb, jangling softly at every movement. I was glad that I had chosen to wear simple leathers out for this trip. Slinky black dresses had their place, and it was certainly not out here.

Approaching the shaman, I stood a little ways off, sending him a silent telepathic message;

No one at all knows what I am. While you're around them, neither do you. As far as we're all concerned, I'm human, okay?

Ivory knew, having recently been promoted to my Under-boss, but even in small, private gatherings like this I would have my staff maintain the illusion. It was, after all, how I'd kept this secret so long.

I nodded to my other caporegime, Vorkaliin. His presence had been slightly unexpected, but I sought to meet his gaze, my own eyes showing him that I was grateful to have the lizard around. With no idea what to expect, his skills would be invaluable. With a soft sigh, I shifted slightly, moving closer to him.

The soft crunch of gravel underfoot signaled the arrival of another member of The Family; Ivory Stroud, dressed in boots, jeans, shirt, and a leather coat which would protect her from the elements, keep her warm if the evening air became chilly, and provide some armor against whatever creatures might lurk within the wilds of Dohmus Prime. Ivory slid down a small embankment, riding a tumbling mass of dirt and rocks, expertly surfing to rest at the bottom. She stepped toward [member="Ahtemis"] & [member="Vorkaliin Barass"], offering an upturned raise of her head in a greeting.

At Ivory's neck, a small purple stone glittered in the evening light; a kyber crystal, self-luminescent, matched her eyes. Her right hand was covered by a gauntlet, and at her waist was a holstered blaster.

"So... You too, huh?" She asked, approaching to stand beside the ruggedly dressed Boss of the Family and their Chistori comrade. A short distance away, she could see the form of [member="Rapax"] waiting for them.

"What's this about?" Ivory asked, wary. She had an odd feeling about this.

He didn't say anything to [member="Ahtemis"] when she sent her telepathic message but he gave a simple nod to her before stopping the boat abit off shore, He didn't say anything just muttered something in a unknown tongue and two creatures made out of some blackish mist formed taking humanoid shape with only dark red glowing eyes that represented anyform of eyes for these beasts as they stood there for a moment before he motioned them off and they darted off and started carving runes of sorts around the entrance rocks, He kept walking deeper into the Lagoon if the others wanted to follow him they where welcome too as he walked he started preparing a few spells and such for what he needed to do. Creating a Basin like this would be difficult but he brought what he needed to create it he just had to besure the group doesn't disrupt what hes doing or this could end poorly.

Vork was surprised when [member="Ahtemis"] the donna appeared. He knew [member="Rapax"] had asked for permission to do this but the fact the woman had decided to come along was a suprise to him. Even more so when she attempted to catch his eye. She clearly wasn't sure what she had agreed to. Well she was about to find out as she moved close to him. She smelt similar to Rapax. He knew his associate wasn't human and now this proved the Donna wasn't either. But this was something to keep to himself.

Vork smiled as [member="Ivory Stroud"] approached recent events had made him appreciate his comrades ideas and thoughts as he saw a purple crystal around her neck. He also noted a gantlet on her hand and a blaster by her side. Not that she would require any of the weapons. Not if Rapax did it right. But it appeared neither of the women understood fully what was going on. Vork knew but it was up to the man who had asked them to be here to tell them if he wished.

Vork nodded as Rapax began walking inwards "Come you will learn something new." He would say following the man in. He walked on the water himself and knew if the others wanted to they would be able to using some of his power to make sure they could. They were here to watch and learn something vork had only seen worked once before as he waited once more for Rapax to do something else.

[SIZE=10.5pt]So I had two of my three capos with me, and with us, a gurlanin shaman.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]What could possibly go wrong?[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]I saw the gurlanin's nod. Good. Hopefully neither of the two capos noticed the very subtle sigh of relief that escaped my lips. My secret was safe with him... for now at least. It was not often I found myself among another of my kind these days, and that was by design, considering my stark difference to the rest of them. I had arched one delicate eyebrow as the shaman chanted something in some strange, unknown tongue. At his command, two creatures appeared, as if formed by some black mist. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]Remaining still, I watched the creatures scurry away to do their master's bidding.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]Rapax himself seemed to pay them little mind, simply beginning to walk deeper into the lagoon. I followed him, walking slowly as I studied everything that the gurlanin did. I'd promised Rapax resources and a place of solitude to practice his magic, but I would admit to more than just idle curiosity at his magic.[/SIZE]

Standing beside [member="Ahtemis"] & [member="Vorkaliin Barass"], Ivory had crossed her arms before her chest - standing with her legs evenly spaced. She would watch intently, breathing in the cool air of Dohmus Prime.. Watching as the dark shape beyond would begin its' cursed rituals. There was a profound darkness creeping at the edges of her conciousness... as-if her spirit were recoiling from what was about to occur. She would have said, "I've got a bad feeling about this", except she considered it a dare to the Gods.

As they began their trek into the marsh, Ivory's right hand hovered close to her blaster.. she was taking no chances, but didn't seem overly jumpy or paranoid - only prepared. "I've gotta say... I've never been to a place like Dohmus Prime." Ivory spoke to her two companions. Above them, the radiant beauty of the white star at the center of the Dohmus System shone brightly in the night sky. Daylight had almost entirely faded, but there remained a soft glimmer which cast long, drawn shadows on the ground. Diamonds twinkled in the sky, and the depths of space seemed... closer, somehow.

He continued walking as the entities he summoned crawled and swirled around doing there rune carvings as he stopped at the dead end of the lagoon, He turned to those who where with him and gave a wait where they are motion before a few rocks formed in the water as he walked on each rock the rocks behind him sink back down into the water the moment hes off them till he reaches the center as the rocks form a small platform before he knelt down on his knees and started muttering a language that to those who could hear couldn't understand. But to him he knew what he was saying as the beasts he summoned earlier returned but it seemed they doubled since last time as there was now four of them, they seemed to start chanting a single sentence in the same unknown tongue he was using and started as if they where prostrating with there movements as he started pouring into the lake a vial of dark purple glowing liquid that seemed to sizzle and make the water where it was poured bubble and a mist formed from it and started slowly covering the water. He continued speaking and pouring a vial of dark red almost blood like liquid as the water seemed to start glowing and visible tendrils of that reddish energy started moving and etching around the water and into some of the surrounding landscape.

Any plant life in the lagoon would show the life leave them as if a poison entered there system and destroyed everything about them, He took out a ornate black dagger and carved the blade into his hand and let his blood drip into the water as the tendrils in the water expanded and changed the lightly mist like fog revealed the water to be a dark red blood like color as the glow dimmed to the power of a flashlight at best before the smoke like entities he summoned earlier disappeared and all was quiet again as he stood up and leaped from the platform that now collapsed into the water and landed on the shore. He looked to them and motioned them over before speaking in a telepathic sense to @Athemis with one phrase. Amazing is it not? now the real monsters can be born.

Vork stood on the water watching as all the things went on. He quickly felt the death of a large number of plant life around the lake. He smiled slightly, so [member="Rapax"] was making somewhere to craft not only force imbuments but also a place of death. He knew this would be a fascinating process having watched it once be done before. Although he could help the man Vork knew better than to intervene especially at this point.

He looked back towards the two women who had declined to walk apon the water he did and he couldn't blame them. This was strange and new occurring before them. He watched them for any signs of backing off or anything else. [member="Ahtemis"] didn't say anything then again Vork didn't expect her too. However [member="Ivory Stroud"] spoke about the beauty of the planet Vork had to admit it was beautiful but so was many of the planets he had been to. Then again he might see it differently to the woman.
