More wondering.

Larkoon stands up, slowly looking around as he does so. Mediations and mental training for the young Zabrak keeps his force abilities sharp! He puts on his spacer's outfit and hitches his saber hilts onto his belt. Quietly, the child Acolyte walks through the corridor in the academy.

The child senses a larger darkness. Who is that? Another master. Again feelings of cold darkness fills the boy's chest as he follows the stronger power. Larkoon bites his upper lip, as he approaches the being in a library.

He himself carried an inherent darkness that shook most lightside beings to their core.

Janus had often come to the academy to peruse their manuals. It was never too late to learn something new, he had always said. Presently the Umbaran stood before a lectern, slowly perusing an old treatise on the Dark Side.

Footsteps alerted him to someone's approach, and he looked up from the tome to see who it was. A young Zabarak, no more than a child. So far the child had said nothing, but simply looked at Janus while biting his upper lip. Adorable.

"Is there something I can help you with?"

The teenager grips his fists. Being in the mere presence of this dark lord shook his core. Larkoon's face softened it's intense glare, as he begain to talk. "Hello..Lord..." He gives a simple bow and promptly stands back up.

"I am new around here...I do not have too many masters...I was wonder if you would find the time to teach me how to become a powerful sith lord..."

The crimson pupils in his white irises dimly glowed red, as per all Zabrak biology, he has glowing eyes too. "I humbly ask for your tutelage...Sir...

A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. Hopefully this Sithling had made the right choice of Lord to approach. Janus' skillset was rather particular, and he was a relatively notorious coward. Regardless, Janus liked Sith and admired this one for being bold enough to approach him here. Thankfully he had caught him in a good mood.

He studied the Zabarak for a few more moments before speaking again. "And what is it you wish to learn?"

"Sir....I would like to learn the art of Niman....Perhaps sharpen my Jar'kai skills..." The boy places his index and thumb under his chin. Gosh, what didn't Larkoon want to learn? He needs to keep this going, as he was sure [member="Darth Janus"] was losing patience. "I would wish to learn of sith lightning as well...But only further down in my training..."

A soft smirk comes across his tattoo'd face. The boy loosely crosses his hands in front of his belt buckle. "Please, sir...I am not really picky...I was trained to handle anything..."

"Niman. Excellent choice."

Janus closed the tome softly, stepping out from behind the lectern. He stood in front of the boy, assessing him once more, before continuing past him in the direction of the training rooms.

"You are too young to handle Sith Lightning. Come. I shall help you with your lightsaber training."

"Thank you...Sir..."

The boy nods before following the almost ghostly older gentlemen. He folds his arms as he begins to follow and venture with [member="Darth Janus"]. As they begin walking, the memories of past training exercises run through his spiky head. He needs more...More power.

Janus led the Zabarak down the twisting corridors of the academy. Eventually they located a vacant training room. It was a wide, circular, and with little to nothing in the way of furnishings. A harsh fluorescent light flooded the room with illumination. Perfect for Sith training.

The Umbaran wasted little time, simply grabbing a training saber from the rack present by the entrance and handing it to the Zabarak. It was, simply put, a lightsaber hilt with a thin durasteel bar instead of an actual blade.

"To my knowledge, Niman is a combination of all forms. You should learn them if you hope to master it completely. Which forms are you already familiar with?"

Ah, the sith symbols. Learning the language of the sith was next on the child's to do list. The young Zabarak scales his eyes around corridor, his crimson irises running over the area. A pleasant walk this was. But, for those who are carfully trained like this young boy, knows the calm before the storm all to well.

Larkoon's demeanor remained serious through this little venture. When [member="Darth Janus"] presents Lars with the training saber, the Zabarak turns down the Umbaran's offer, only to whip out two training saber hilts from his hips and igniting the crimson blade with a small grin. "Thank you...But I was given my own..." He takes on a Jar'kai postion, while sliding out his right leg. He was ready to take the offensive, as dictated by the "Juyo" form.

His crisp, eerie voice rings through the area. "Juyo...And Jar'kai..."

[member="Larkoon Darkmat'r"]

"Juyo?" Darth Janus echoed, raising an eyebrow. "You are a child. You do not know Juyo."

He placed the training stick back on the rack, clearly not accepting of this claim. Juyo was among the most difficult forms to master. Janus very much doubted this one knew anything of it.

Raises his right bald brow to the older lord. Using what he was instructed, he rushes over towards [member="Darth Janus"], his left blade held horizontal and his right held verticle. He moves in a flash of white, intent on making the Umbaran ignite his own blade in defense. After that, the boy would swing his blades repeatitly after the man's weapon.

The aim? Disarming!

While it was flashy, Larkoon's understanding of Juyo was still rudimentary.
