Appearance and behaviour:
A small and frail body belies a strength equal to a normal adult. At the age of sixteen years, Morrigan appears younger than her age would suggest. In the rare instance that she might smile, an observer may spot unusually sharp teeth. She has skin as grey as stone and eyes as orange as a sun.

Strengths

  • Razor Sharp – Nagai are renowned duellists and masters of edged weaponry. Morrigan is no exception, showing remarkable skill with the Tehk’la blade.
  • Silky Voice – Morrigan speaks in a silky, pleasant tone which has a small calming effect on people and animals. This ability is a heritage that Nagai share: an enhanced vocal range and soothing voice.
  • The Jungle’s whispers – Years spent in the jungle has focused Morrigan’s awareness through the force. She would use this ability to alert herself to danger, and thus gained a high sensitivity to any lifeforms nearby.
  • Preternatural Healing – The only benefit of a childhood curse, Morrigan heals wounds in a significantly shorter time than normal. She also has no need to consume food, instead sustaining herself through the force.
Weaknesses
  • Cannibalistic urges – A curse cast on Morrigan as a baby manifested as a sinister desire to consume humanoid flesh. It is a curse she loathes. Although it is an internal struggle she constantly fights, a lapse in concentration may cause her to attack others, and attempt to consume their flesh.
  • Undisciplined gifts – Morrigan has had no formal training in the force and such has only instinctual control over her powers. She can only summon her power in the heat of the moment or habitually.
  • Uncultured – Morrigan knows little of the galaxy and is often lost and confused. Her ignorance has been the cause of many issues that could be easily avoided.
Biography:

Birth
Morrigan was born in what the Nagai consider an unholy ceremony. Her parents, both powerful force users, conceived her in secret. Living in a xenophobic village, their neighbours resented the gifts they had. Tired of the petty squabbles, Morrigan’s parents called on the dark side of force to ascend their progeny to godhood. The process killed the couple, and irrevocably twisted their child's soul.

The villagers discovered the ritual chamber after hearing the child crying. Believing that the baby was a demon, the villagers abandoned her deep in the jungle, as a sacrifice to the gods. Morrigan cried loudly, the sound carrying through the force. A wandering Nagai Jedi heard her cries, and took the child back to his sanctuary.

Early Life
The nameless prophet raised the child as his own, giving her the name of Morrigan (She would later take his last name, Lethani). Morrigan grew up under his tutelage, learning basic skills, writing, sums and how to survive in the wilderness. She knew him only as ‘Father’ while she viewed the untamed jungle as her ‘Mother”. For a long time, all was well.

Her parent’s sacrifice manifested as a useful ability. She had no desire to eat food, as was no worse off for not doing so. She also had remarkable natural healing, and took little time to heal wounds. She considered this a blessing, until the age of twelve, when she discovered the true nature of her power.

Discovering her curse
Twelve-year-old Morrigan was hunting in the jungle, when she stumbled upon an unusual quarry. It had an unusual smell, intoxicating. She could feel it keenly through the force, feel its lifeforce. She found herself sprinting past the trees, after the invisible curiosity. The next few moments were a blur, until they coalesced into a horrific scene. A Nagai lay dead at her feet, consumed and mangled. Blood dripped from her chin and her stomach was churning. Worst was a new feeling that both sickened and thrilled her. For the first time, she felt HUNGER.

Father found her crying beneath a massive tree. Comforting her, he explained that he had known about the curse since the day he carried her home. He had masked his lifeforce from the girl and raised her far away from others, so she could live in peace. She wept deeply that day, as Father carried her home.

Final years on Nagi
Four years would pass, in which Morrigan would train to fight the curse, to fight the hunger. The precautions Father took were taxing however, and he died three days before Morrigan’s sixteenth birthday. Aimless and burdened, Morrigan left the sanctuary. Without Father, she was lost and could only see one course of action. She had to leave Nagi, and find a cure for her hunger. She walked to civilization, her mouth watering and her stomach growling…
