Conceited
So, in case the community wasn't aware, Mortal Wombat has been cancelled by resident [member="Darth Carnifex"], for what I can only assume to be a mixture of OOC posturing, bad advice given by OGs, arrogance for the characters that he was challenging (they weren't worth a fight probably), and something I'd probably get banned for saying on the site. Alas, what could have been some good roleplay got turned to crap because of the OOC on this site lol.
You know, Jon was right when he said being DLotS wasn't about who can say it the most, or who tells people they are the most. It's about what a character has achieved, what they stand for, who they are, their accomplishments and the driving force for become a DLotS. The prequels are normally regarded as bad films but the revelation that Darth Vader became the DLotS and pledged to serve Palpatine, all so that he could try and save his wife with the dark side, was powerful and that's the kind of stuff that makes a DLotS.
DLotS is carved out of battle and loss, so if Carnifex managed to take out [member="Darth Ferox"], [member="Vengeance"], [member="Darth Ignus"] and myself in one to one confrontations and beat all of us, then who could have realistically disputed his claim to the mantle? DLotS are not made through OOC crap, and like every other time I've been affected by OOC in my roleplay, I will throw my toys out of my pram and cry about it until you people just stop and let roleplay takeover lol.
All your idealism about what the Sith should be, what a Sith faction should be about and this other stuff is just getting in the way. Most of you are missing what a Sith faction should be about. If you crave orderly roleplay then there are about three Jedi factions (to my knowledge) that can have you. But the Sith are not orderly, we are chaotic community and the normal rules will forever always be out of the window because we follow something called the dark side and it tends to throw all forms of logic out of the window, you know?
There is so much more I want to say but I'm disappointed.
