Mos Eisley Cantina Blues [Closed]

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy"

Oh, how true this was. But this particular cantina had a certain... Flair to it. That and Josh knew the bartender so he got a discount on drinks, and he didn't even water the stuff down when it came to him. So here he was, in the dusty old cantina, sitting at a table in the corner, robes on, hood up, force presence hidden...

Just watching. Drinking. You never know what you'd find in these parts, after all.

Dusaro walked in a few minutes after he did. Though it was by coincidence rather then purpose he was there. He had the look of a mercenary, with a sword and an interesting looking pistol at his side.

After taking a short look around the room he walked over to the bar, ordering a glass of Corellian rum, and taking an open seat, putting down enough credits for the drink and a tip to the bartender.

In the meantime while waiting for his drink, he pulled out a peice of paper and started to write something on it.

It didn't matter where he went, no matter what planet, what cantina, he frequented, there was always the troublemakers of all shapes and sizes. And the guy who happened to walk in just oozed trouble. The Jedi, who's robes weren't his usual Jedi ones, and with his Force signature hidden, making sure his status as a Jedi was hidden, watched this man closely. He sipped his drink gingerly. Not too fast, not too quick, he didn't want to drown himself out too much in case things went down.

He noted the man was writing something... But what? He just got a suspicious vibe.

Dusaro scratched his chin while writing it, wondering something, before finishing off a line and folding the paper neatly. While he waited for his drink, he took a moment to subtly survey the scene around him. Almost anyone else in the bar wouldn't notice, but Joshua could perhaps see his eyes scanning his current field of vision for... Something. Though he never looked directly at Joshua, and had no idea who he was. He was looking for something else. Something he didn't appear to find, his face taking an annoyed look.

After a moment when the bartender walked over, setting Dusaro's drink down in a metallic glass, he picked it up, and his mind thought for a moment. 'Aha!' He thought, smirking slightly. Taking a drink, he rubbed the murky glasses side to reflect something like a mirror, and set it down carefully. After that, he looked up. "Ah, bartender, i have a request for you" He said, holding up the piece of paper. "I don't know how to say it but this is it."

Though his actions were definitely suspicious, it didn't seem he meant to malice anyone in the room. Not at the moment at least.

There was no use of the force from the man. He was only using the normal five senses.

Stardust liked going to mos eisley, why, because the bar and the band that played there though this time she didn't look like the usual dark Jedi self, she wore a cloak that covered her sabers up she had her dc-17 side arm situated on her chest so she didn't look weaponless, medium armor was on her that felt nothing more then light armor on her

She took a seat and ordered a ale as she glanced around the room once, she noted a suspicious man at the bar but dismissed him keeping him noted but not paying to much attention

The bartender, after serving a round of drinks, would tilt his head when asked to do a "favour" for [member="Dusaro"] for some odd reason. He'd been asked to do many dirty jobs in the past, but unlike the other ones that worked this particular cantina, he wasn't a fan of dirty jobs and tried to steer clear if he could. The bartender would take the slip of paper, and shoot the man a look, as if inquiring as to what this was.

Meanwhile, the Jedi would peer from under his hood, both at the suspicious fellow, and at a familiar one, [member="stardust"]. Well, it'd certainly been awhile. He smirked faintly under his hood, but said nothing else.

"Just a drink i cant pronounce." He said simply, and when the Bartender opened it, that is exactly what he would find. And a bit more. First the drink name was written down, Polyquaternium-7. He would also find some money, enough to buy a person several rounds of drinks. Written below the drink name was the following.

'If you see any bounty hunters come inside that seem to be looking for someone, tap the underside of the bar twice. That's all. Just nod if will do this little job. The credits are the payment.'

As he read it, Dusaro just continued sipping at his drink, keeping a bit of an eye on the bartender to see if he nodded or not. His mood and pose was not aggressive nor pressuring, just relaxed.

She got a feeling of being watched and looked up to catch a face she remembered, she gave a grin and nodded to a seat by him as if asking if she could move over to where has was

She looked at the man that had seemed suspicious and now she felt he was even more suspicious, she looked away and took a drink

The bartender would raise a curious eyebrow when the note was handed to him, along with some credits. A bribe? Well, he didn't usually tend to business like this. A bounty hunters business wasn't his. But he didn't really want blaster shots fired in his bar either, so the bartender would simply nod instead, accepting the offer. He would pour the man the drink that he apparently could not pronounce.

-------------------------------

It seemed that despite disguising his signature and being hooded up, he was recognized by Stardust. A pain, but Joshua would shrug, smirking faintly under his hood and nodded his head, telling her silently that she was free to joined him if she wished.

@stardust @Dusaro

"Thank you sir." Dusaro said when the drink was brought to him, raising it up and taking a drink. His first drink he left there half filled, not moving it or going to finish it off quite yet. Dusaro's eyes would often glance at the glass, seemingly in deep thought. Though in fact he was keeping a steady watch on something.

She got up and came around setting by [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"]"long time no see "she said with a grin, she'd seem different some what my dark then light and in truth she was glad she's ran into him" I'm actually glad to see a jedi to be honest"she spoke low so others. wouldn't hear glancing at the other man

[member="Dusaro"]

"Glad to see a Jedi? So you tend to target Jedi in your... Exploits, do you?" The Jedi Master would tease quietly, so as for others not to hear, toward [member="stardust"] with a small, but playful grin under the hood of his robes. He would reach over and poke her nose playfully, chuckling under the hood. "It's been quite some time. How are you?" He would ask.

-----------------------------

Meanwhile, bartender jones would shrug in response to his thanks. It was an odd night, he supposed. But he made sure to refill everyones drinks as needed. But he gingerly watched the door... Likely watching for bounty hunters as well.

------------------------------

Joshua would peek over at the man who'd handed the paper to the bartender again. Just what was his game?

Dusaro kept doing for the moment as he had been, keeping a careful eye on the reflection, though not looking in [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] and [member="stardust"] direction, besides giving them a glance as she walked over and took a seat. After a few minutes, a well armed man, who the bartender would notice was a local bounty hunter, walked inside, looking around as he slowly walked inside, surveying the area for someone.

There was perhaps a slight change in atmosphere, that those who were looking might notice. His eyes looked didnt look up to the bartender nor at the door, waiting to see if he was given the signal or not.

I wouldn't say I exploit jedi I prefer to keep my distance from them as the tend to hate my type"she said with a sigh "truth is I need knowledge and help lately my...darker side has been trying to take over after some...recent events" she moved her robe to reveal her right arm that was now cybernetic"I was hoping you could allow me to go to a temple to get some knowledge and help myself balance out"she looked up seeing a bounty hunter come in and looked over at [member="Dusaro"] then to [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"], lowering her voice she grinned"things may get interesting soon I see

"Uh huh..." The Jedi Master would respond, raising an eyebrow. "I see... And how do you intend to deal with that?" Joshua would inquire, cracking his neck to try and get out the knots. He'd been sitting here quite awhile, after all. "But no" He said, shaking his head. "I'm no longer a member of the Jedi Order. I wouldn't be able to get you into the Temple if I wanted to" He would add. "I'm not on the best of terms with the Order, haven't been for quite some time now"

-----------------

The bartender, meanwhile, watched the man who had come in closely... He didn't know if he was a bounty hunter, but he was prepared to honor his end of the bargain if so.

He seemed to be, he was certainly a well armed person who was looking around carefully as he walked inside, so it was a reasonably safe bet he might be. After a few moments, he started to walk towards the bar.

Dusaro continued what he was doing, seemingly not aware of the man yet.

[member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] [member="stardust"]

(Please don't use one-liners, Stardust. I can't even respond to it properly because you gave me absolutely zero to work off of)

He nodded a bit, and shrugged. "Sorry, dear. I don't know if I can help you, if getting into the temple is what you want" Joshua would speak with a frown. "Not sure what else I can do, really"

-----------------------

The bartender's eyes trained on the possible bounty hunter as they came over. He would honor his deal, and he was ready to give the signal as soon as he could. As he came closer, the bartender would smile. "How may I help you sir?" He would ask the heavily armored sir.

----------------------

Josh's eyes would move to the heavily armored sir who had came in... He could sense trouble a mile away.

The Bounty hunter wasnt walking too fast, so he would have time to do so. Dusaro heard it, and then saw something in the reflection, grinning. 'Aaah, there we are...'

He thought, the grin fading, though the amusement and slight excitement was still in his eyes. He shifted, raising his feet, knowing what was coming.

It proved to be a Devaronian as he came more into view, and he looked over at the bartender as he walked around the bar.

["I would like a ruby bliels."] He said, starting to get near Dusaro, before noticing him. The Bounty Hunters hand would start going to his side as he got behind Dusaro.

The bartender saw that look, and he knew exactly what to do. "Right away sir" He said, casually tapping the counter twice with the mug in his hand that he was cleaning before going to work on the drink. Hopefully that'd give the guy enough time to warn him.

That little gesture, Josh had noticed from the bartender... Every bartender had little mannerisms, but he'd never seen them from that one... And he'd known him for years. A code, maybe? The Jedi would begin to rise from his seat, watching the situation carefully...
