DESCRIPTION

Magda Crownwraithe was a personality deliberately crafted by the Sorceress of Ossus soon after adopting Nathan in order to directly interact with him as a Mother, Magda deliberately crafted to act more human in ways it was extremely difficult for the Sorceress herself to do directly. Magda proved strong enough due to intense love for her adopted son that the persona became one of the most powerful in her body when Nathan was in her life, to the point she was forced to put it in psychological lockdown following Nathan's original death because of the overwhelming grief it experienced. Nathan resurfacing caused Magda to resurface even more powerful than she was in the Gulag plague, to the point she has effectively become part of the subconscious of the Sorceress, influencing her to create these gowns to better stay in control. This may indicate Magda is a candidate to completely take over the Sorceress from within...the strongest sign of it being that the name she gave herself in the modern era is simply a lengthy version of Crownwraithe's first name.
