Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty had been contacted by some random Acolyte who was specifically requesting her training. It seemed she would never have to find an apprentice herself or ever be without an apprentice for that matter. They all seemed to flock to her. Today was the day he was suppose to arrive so Kitty hung out at the predetermined landing pad, which was basically just a landing pad in a grassy field out in the middle of nowhere. She got bored of waiting for him to arrive and decided to train.

Kitty recently had been rather interested in training in hand to hand combat as she was naturally talented at it as were most Felacatians. Hand to hand combat was the Felacatian's specialty. Instead of calling over her usual group of guards she treated as her play things, she requested or rather demanded the appearance of the planets most skilled trainer to teach her.

She trained for a few hours before her datapad beeped a warning that a ship was inbound. She dismissed her trainer and waited as the shuttle landed on the landing pad. What walked out was a sad sight to behold. If you were to ask Kitty how she would describe him she would describe him as a vampire slave but without the fangs. Kitty herself was wearing a purple tank top, blue shorts, and two lightsabers at her hips. Her well groomed appearance made this vampire slave look like something even worse than a vampire slave in contrast, if that was even possible. She stood with a posture that suggested she was unamused and maybe even bored. "Alright, first things first. Why me? What do you know about the sith and the force? Do you know the sith code? Do you have a lightsaber and if so what styles do you know? And what can you do with the force?" Kitty said rather bluntly with her barrage of questions. It was kind of her standard Acolyte sizing up procedure at this point.

"Well, that was a lot." Shawn replied, "You sith don't mess around. OK the first question. I chose you because out of all the sith I saw who could train me. you look the most fierce and powerful" Shawn smiles hoping Kitty will buy his flattery. if she doesn't react at all he stands there for a small moment. 'cough cough' "eh well, the second question. The forsk well I'm not even sure I can say it right. That sum up how much I know? Is the sith code like a cipher? I'm not very, uh, experienced with computers or codes. Wait you mean I get a lightsaber! There's styles? Are they attack, defense, and other? As for the thorce I can do this!" He set's down a coin and raises it up to kitties belt height and moves it toward her. "Eh? not bad for a first If I do say so myself. Well I know I leave much to be desired but hey! I am like raw clay you can shape into what ever you want! He than flashes a worried smile.

Kitty remained unamused as he attempted to flatter her. She could see right through his bantha dung, What she didn't understand was why he was flinging bantha dung at her. He should know someone who truly was the most fierce and powerful would think nothing of someone who acknowledged that. They'd be looking for someone who proved themselves fierce and powerful enough to be worthy of their mentorship. His answer to her questions was basically 'I know nothing.' She wasn't looking forward to the amount of training she was going to have to give him, but she saw it as another prime opportunity to teach another sith to be a different kind of sith.

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. This is the code of the sith, its what a sith truly is and it's what you'll be learning. Connect to the force through your emotions, but don't manipulate your emotions to connect to the force. Now lets get you something decent to wear before my emotions start ripping your clothing to shreds." Kitty said before leading her new apprentice to the palace to get some clothing. "My name is Kitty and I will be your master I suppose. What is your name and what's your history?"

"Please please don't kill me I sorry- eh what? your not going to chop me in half? Oh thank god!" Shawn suddenly realized he looked like a complete idiot. 'cough cough' "Uh, that code was really intriguing but what do you mean by peace is a lie? Wait I get new cloths? Really? Thank you so much! I haven't had new clothes in 2 years! Oh it's the Force, he he I must of looked like a complete moron. Sorry about that I was just a wee bit terrified." Shawn smiles and laughs, "OK now about me, I was born on Zamael. My mother died right after I was born my father worked in the nearby spice mine. As soon as I was old enough he forced me to join the 'family business'. All my pay went to him, so he could buy more of his all-so-precious spice. I hate spice, I want to destroy all of it and it's users. Well any way I worked in the mines till I was 17. Than I heard a rumor that the one sith had sent a scouting party to Zamael. I saw it as a chance to escape my horrid life. I thought to myself better a soldier than a spice miner. Anyway I escaped and ran to the sith scouting party. There I asked to join them. They asked me a lot of questions and performed some tests. Well they found out I have a knack for this 'Force'. So they told me that I could be a sith rather than a normal soldier. Well it wasn't much of a choice, the first thing I had to do was pick a master. The sith recruiter gave me a list and I chose you. Then they shuttled me here and you know the rest." Shawn than asked, "So do sith eat or do you become more like gods? Because I'm starving!"

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty arched her brow in confused intrigue. He was odd beyond odd and Kitty had seen many odd folk in her travels, but this one took first place. On the bright side he was as naive as they come. She could mold him any way she wanted and would serve as a true test as to weather or not her dream could become a reality. She would wait for him to finish speaking before replying "You of all people should know the truth it speaks. You have seen for yourself the physical manifestations of greed and sorrow. The few reprieves you got from that probably confused you. You probably felt envy towards the smiles of the happy. The thought might have come up that it was too good to be true, but never having experienced it yourself you decided it was true, and that you were just unlucky. Well your wrong, they hide behind the masks of smiles. He who laughs the most, hurts the most. Haven't you ever noticed you enjoy things others might take for granted. It is because you have experienced more pain than them. Those who are spoiled never smile. You know this to be true. So then do you realize how much pain there is in the galaxy. It is necessary to live so the real question is do you want to be at peace and cease to live or accept the truth and begin to live for real. I would argue that you are one of the most fortune people in the galaxy you have the ability to smile larger than any other and the galaxy has given you the gift of the force to channel that into power. With that power you can be free, which is how you live to the fullest. The code probably makes a whole lot more sense to you now and that is quite an accomplishment in of its self. Many masters still don't even know the real meaning. Guess you could say I am lucky to have someone with as much potential as you. However should you decide you'd rather cease to live I'd suggest you leave now and seek the council of the jedi."

By the time Kitty finished the two would arrive at the palace. Entering Kitty would immediately send servants to fetch some fine clothing in her Acolyte's approximate size. While they went to do that Kitty would lead her apprentice to the guest quarters. Inside it was decorated with the finest furniture made with the fineness materials and colored in the royal colors of purple and light brown. It was complete with a bed, entertainment devices, and comfy lounging furniture. Kitty went to sit on one of the couches that made up a circle of comfy couches in the middle of the room which was meant for parties. She would continue to talk with her apprentice while the clothing was fetched. "You still haven't told me your name."

"Yeah, not a big fan of 'ceasing to exist'. I never looked at my life that way. I always assumed that it was all fate. That I was destined to rot in some spice mine." Shawn replies. As Shawn enters the room he stares at the palace of luxury around him. When Kitty brings up his name he takes his gaze away from the room and stares at Kitty for a second in sheer awe. It takes a moment, but Shawn finally processes her question. He slaps his head and replies, "Oh, wow I must seem like a complete child. My name is Shawn Correl."

"Well Shawn Correl this will be your new room for now. Get comfy spend the rest of the day to gather your thoughts and tomorrow we'll start with some of the basics." As if on cue the servants walked in with some nice clothing about Correl's size. "I'll let you get to it." Kitty said before walking out.

Making her way to her own room she looked for where she put her training sabers she had used for her last apprentices. Eventually finding them she put them aside for tomorrows lessons.

Shawn's eyes followed Kitty as she left, "I was right she was the nicest one!" he thought to himself. As the servants left Shawn went over to the bed and felt the bedding and the new close, he was shocked at their quality. When his hand lifted from them he looked around, gazing in awe. "This is my new life." He said. "I wonder what's to come." He then proceeds to put on his new cloths. When he's done he looks at his old rags, and tears of a piece of his shirt, "To remember the pain..." he says and stuffs the filthy scrap of cloth in his pocket.
