Move Like You Stole It (Open CIS Party on Chroma Zed)

The Confederacy is hosting a party on Chroma Zed for all too attend. The only thing that we ask is that you leave your weapons at home and don't fight. We have weapon detectors at all doors. Other than that, come and knock back a few cold ones.

Chroma Zed
Banquet Hall

As she waited for her guests to arrive Sophia rushed around the banquet making sure that everything was just perfect. The Viceroy of Chroma Zed had faith that her staff had done her proud however she still couldn't help but check. She was proud of her beautiful planet and she wanted that to show here tonight.

This party was not only open to those in the Confederacy but also to outside governments which made it doubly important for them to put their best foot forward. This was sort of a peace offering after all that had occurred on Drunkenwell. She hoped this worked out well for them and didn't end in a fight.

Sophia had offered up her planet as it was one of the more beautiful ones and to show her fellow Viceroys that she was still on their side despite their differences of opinions. If she didn't want to be kicked out she needed to play the political game.

Tonight however she wasn't going to talk politics. She only wanted to have a good time, dance a little and make a few friends. She would still have to play hostess a little but that was due able. Sophia did love showing off the beauty of Chroma Zed.

The entrances to the banquet hall had been all been set up with weapon detectors to ensure that everyone inside had a safe fun time. This was not the place for fighting.

After making her rounds and being satisfied that everything was in place Sophia took a seat at one of the empty tables. The dress she had chosen for this occasion was a simple strapless red gown that went to the floor. A red heeled foot tapped lightly on the ground as she waited.

Salem Norongachi was invited. How could he not be? He was the face of the CIS post Druckenwell, the man with the power. This also meant he couldn't refuse the invitation. Grudgingly he boarded his shuttle, grudgingly he adorned a black suit and white shirt with an equally dark tie. The shoes he wore were leather and shone with the sweat of whomever had buffed them.

The journey was shorter than he'd have liked, the thought of rubbing shoulders with people he didn't know, nor cared for, irked him. Small people, beyond the scope of his vision. They neither mattered nor factored into his plans but, with power came responsibility and this was one such occasion.

"If it gets too much," He spoke to [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"] , his date upon his arm. "Kill me, immediately."

stardusy apprachoahed the building wearimg a nice red dress she keot in storage for this as she walked in and smiled lookimg around abd awed at the beauty whoever set this up really put their time into and wanted to impress.

walkimg over to grab a drink she took a sip amd smiled

A slick sweep of a frail hand dusted Norongachi 's shoulder, she even glanced over the collar and tie with jaded green eyes. "Really, darling," Anesia gave him a crafty smile, "I am not ruining my dress."

Speaking of such things, her gown matched his in the way that it was black. The various fabrics it was made of bit and hugged every curve the Master had to offer from her bust to her trim waist. For the most part it was modest, it's skirt falling the the floor in whimsy flutters that covered long-stemmed legs. Trademark stilettos of the same hue kept her just under [member="Salem Norongachi"]'s height. "If you think I am suffering alone..." the woman snorted under her breath. She gave a fleeting smile to those passing and looked around the Banquet Hall.

"Thank you," her voice lowered, then heightened as she swiped a flask off a floating tray. Her eyes met his and she swallowed the pale pink contents and handed off the glass to... hopefully another passing waiter. "Look pretty, Salem..." her hand had found his chin and she tilted it down closer to her. The thought of kissing him came and went, instead she laughed, "...rather, you're scarier when you smile."

It was true. Alas, if he was going to be all dark and mysterious, they'd be going right back to the Hand of Fate. Thin, bare shoulders shrugged and she winked at him.

Ikki let out a small huff as she looked at the party happening. So much to clean and take care of while her hands were clasped together meekly in front of her. A small smile on her lips and she walked around looking at the others who were coming. No weapons was a helpful thing at least and would allow for them to not cause fights in the viceroys beautiful home at least. Ikki saw the leader of the Obsidian knights and gave a bow from her place when he arrived with a woman on his arm but she didn't speak. Just let her stature and normal status conceal her away from others view. No one noticed a maid after all.

Man, Kallion had not gotten out of his armor in a long time, long enough for his skin to have turned very white, almost ghostly, but as long as it wasn't shown through the suit the clone wore, along with the gloves he'd put on "And I feel to light too... I definitely need to stay out of that thing for a bit." Kallion sighed as he walked through the weapons scanner, everything about this was... Unnatural to him, having only been to a party on twelve other occasions -those being so far apart- " hope I don't look to tired... Gah, who cares anyways." A quick look around revealed nothing of much interest, other than the few other guests who had arrived. Standing still for a few moments the clone quickly walked over to the table that [member="Sophia Walsh"] was at, before he started talking "... This is one of the bigger parties I have been to in a long time... It's actually gotten me out of my armor. Which I'm glad for." Kallion didn't know why he had sat at this exact table -or why he had said anything- but at least he'd be able to speak with someone that wasn't himself now.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
A party? Marek loved parties! Plus, the party was on Chroma Zed, one of the first worlds of the Confederacy that he familiarized himself with. Sure, he wanted to familiarize himself with the world's Viceroy. Y'know, to see if he could pick her mind for technology and... what she was good at. Whatever. The Foreman of the Techno Union was happy to attend a situation like this. He was, of course, coming solo, but whatever, that never bothered him.

Dressed up, and trying to bring a bit of a dapper appearance to his fringer look, he made a bee-line for the bar. He could avoid most people, and maybe the rest wouldn't be discussing shop all day. And who was all going to show up? They could get a game of quarters going on, so long as no one used the Force.

Grabbing a bottle glass of whiskey, the Foreman nodded to the bartender. He saw [member="Salem Norongachi"] and [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"], and gave htem both a nod. Sure, he could get over there and speak to them later. Now, where to cause trouble?

Seeing as someone was already going and bothering [member="Sophia Walsh"], he'd just have to wait his turn.

"Come on..." He grumbled with a shake of his head, leading Anesia Jy'Vun into the banquet hall. It was a lavish spread, of that there was no doubt. He ignored the flutes of champagne as they moved through the crowd of finely dressed sentients and found the small bar, a waiter in a white shirt in attendance. It called to him just as surely as a moth to the flame and he moved them toward it.

He saw [member="Marek Starchaser"] then, he returned the nod. The Foreman was one the few people in the room that he trusted implicitly, although for appearances sake they were nothing more than servants to the CIS and its cause. "Whiskey, neat." He said to the barman who obliged. "And for the lady?" He asked Anesia.

"Membrosia," she answered, broadcasting a slight smile. "Black, if you have it." It was wishful thinking, Anesia knew, but it didn't hurt to ask. The tender blinked at her and rose his brows. The woman sighed, "Whiskey is fine."

With a flick of a deft finger she sent a stray strand of hair back, just behind her ear. "Don't you dare," she said suddenly while sliding her inky wrapped bottom onto a stool at the bar, "put ice in that." The barman's eyes slightly widened, but he nodded apologetically.

The sound of frozen chips of water hitting a metal container filled the air and she smiled with a nod. A small hand was placed at [member="Salem Norongachi"] 's back then, guiding him to the seat just next to her, but still offering the view of the ballroom to them both. It was wide as it was long, with dark tables dotted strategically against the walls, giving room for a dance floor that seemed to be decorated with more and more politicians by the moment. The room was bright enough so not a single breath of shadows could lurk.

It was a very open affair, she thought and held out her hand to receive the slightly over half-filled tumbler of amber poison. Finally, she spoke, "We need a distillery, Salem."

stardust stood looking and sipping her drink, she kinda sat there looking around at the peopls she didnt know and problaly should get to know, then she spotted [member="Marek Starchaser"] he looked familar and wanted to see if he remembered her at all

she appraoched with a smile as she bowed lightly before speaking "hey i think i remember you

"I'm glad your enjoying yourself thus far." She smiled as she turned a bit to better face him. Sophia had put a lot of prep work into this little event and it was nice seeing that others were enjoying themselves.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, I'm Sophia. I'm used to wearing outfits like this all the time so really for me it's no different. Perhaps a little fancier than normal." If she could manage it, she wanted to just be Sophia for the night. There had been so many problems as of late around the galaxy and here even she just wished to kick back and have some fun. She was positive that others agreed with that sentiment.

Since he was in armor all the time she could only guess that he was a soldier. It was a profession that the now politician very much respected. The Navy always had and always would hold a special place in her heart. "I could use a drink. Want something?" she questioned as she stood up.

[member="Kallion"]

"Er, do they have any netra'gal here? If not then something strong would do." Kallion said, hallway rising up from his chair, unsure if he should stay put, or follow the woman to wherever the drinks were 'probably at the bar' He thought, Kallion then looked at [member="Sophia Walsh"], still unsure of what to do "Er, sorry, I really don't know what to do right now, as I haven't met... Uh, Anyone new in a long time, so all of this to me."
