Moving forward and putting the past to rest

Corvus reflected on Master Bishop's note. She smoothed her robes as she contemplated his approach. She understood that a Padawan should accompany their Master everywhere - but was unsure how this worked as he had three under his guidance at the moment, especially as she agreed that she should learn from experience and personal guidance.

But his approach was different from the one she had been used to and his dismissal of some of her thoughts was still stinging. 'It wasn't as if he taught me where I was going wrong or guided me to a better insight.' She blushed at her thoughts - in her mind they were disrespectful.

But as she sat and contemplated them, she knew that something felt wrong. It was no lack of respect for him. It was certainly not a comment on her Master's abilities as a Jedi or a teacher. Rather it was a lack of connection between them - in her opinion. But it was more than opinion. It felt wrong and it was as if the Force was guiding her in that feeling.

As she considered her options - one of which was to return to her home planet - a Jedi Master happened to walk past. Recognising her, she plucked up the courage to address her elder. Bowing slightly, she spoke."Master Rekali. Forgive my forwardness but I have a question that is bothering me and I would appreciate your counsel. If you believe something to be wrong...broken perhaps...and you believe the Force is in some way telling you this, well...should you ignore it through respect for the expected order of things or is it better to confront it and act upon it?"

She flushed again and once more fiddled with the hem of her robes.
