Moving In

Overdrola was finally here. All those jobs, all that work, and here she began. Only in her thirties, she was beginning her criminal empire. Oh the possibilities were endless, she could work in homicides, arson, slave rings, even political corruption, but now she had to keep her eye on the prize. Now she needed a place to start, a new beginning to the next phase in Overdrola's life. Which included a new HQ on Dilbana, a criminal planet with aging gangs.

She had her mind set on one particular complex, the Choltho Fortress, which wasn't much of a fortress anymore. It needed some tuning up and some better defenses, but that was all in due time. Now she needed to clear out the infestations that were currently holed up in the place. They were lightly armed, but there must have been dozens according to the Twi'leks intel. She already hired some cheap guns for hire, but she needed a real ace in the hole to ensure she got total control of the complex. Which is why she hired [member="Serenity LoveHeart"], a real gun crazy who wasn't afraid to be right in the mud, going to town on her enemies. Overdrola hoped she and her rotary canon, plus whatever guns for hire that came along, would be enough to exterminate the wretched scum that plagued these halls.

The landspeeder that carried the entire group stopped outside the fortress, the grass lands surrounding it becoming a parking lot for her speeder. Overdrola exited the ship on a hoverlift chair, her feet ached when forced to carry her 200 kilogram body, the chair was to relieve the Twi'lek of that ache. She gazed at the fortress from her reclined position, from here it looked like a cakewalk, but she was glad to have Loveheart by her side just in case.

The landspeeder wasn't anything fancy, but Serenity wasn't used to fancy things; but not even a dash of pink, really? The bumps it hit caused her to jump mildly before she finally lost it after Zaps nearly fell out, she then turned to her contractor and said. "I know I'm 'hired help' but when are we going to get there? I'm getting tired of this awful driving." But as she said this, the hand that was balancing her head was moved and she looked up to see the towering fortress just ahead of them; a giggle came out of her mouth as the vehicle immediately got lighter as soon as the Twi'lek had exited it, but the real smile came whenever she saw the busted gate and a group of scrawny men dressed in rags entered her viewsight.

As she approached the gate and one of the other mercenaries was planning a stealthy approach. She wasn't into that sort of thing. The cannon's fixated ammo chamber clicked into place and it aimed directly down towards the group, 3 of the 12 turned round, who were now looking at the rich and immense bounty they had previously collected. A few turned around, but their fate was already sealed as the cannon whirred, striking 3 of them down immediately with such a great force that they slammed into a sandstone building behind them. The wide-eyes of the other bounty hunter's grew larger, and the organised one of the bunch put a hand on her soldier saying, "Really? Again?" She just grinned as she kept advancing, the gun still aimed at the enemies now running for cover. He waved a hand as the other few began to move in behind her. Screams could be heard from one of the bodies who had not died on impact, and she just laughed in response before whispering. "Shut up already."

Overdrola was pleased with [member="Serenity LoveHeart"]'s enthusiasm, a person of her caliber could always be useful to a woman like Vao. Maybe after this job she could find a way to permanently hire the young gunwoman. But now was a time of action, not planning. The hover chair had proven to slow, as it could not keep up with the attentiveness of her mercenaries. Once she reached the entrance to the fortress, gazing at the carnage LoveHeart had left, she chuckled with a deep voice she proclaimed, "Good work Serenity! You are definitely proving your worth." Following, she pulled herself out of the metal chair, leaving it hovering over the grass, taking a side arm holstered to the chair's side, "Now it is time we take what is right fully min-, I mean ours!" The Twi'lek took to waddling towards the entrance, her body jiggling with loose fat from an over excess of delicacies from many many years.

Flanked by two heavily armed men, she grinned. Overdrola always liked to have the upper advantage, why else fight if you don't?

She giggled in response to the girl's response, "Honestly, I don't even care about the payment. I just love wrecking havoc" As she followed the woman in, lowering her minigun and lightly shoving one of the armed men to her left. He gave a hardy chuckle as this happened, but complied. "Anyway, what're we doing with this place?" A few groans of the suffering and (barely) surviving soldiers could be heard in the background as they made it through the entrance-way, some were now putting there hands up but as they walked past they were swiftly executed by various members of the mercenary team. The sandy desolate palace was now their's for the taking, with a sizeable treasure awaiting them in the centre, and as they approached it the blood of the creatures that they had just murdered was splattered on the walls, on the gold and treasure and a smile creeped across her face.

"Rob can have my share, as long as I can keep one of the bodies." Rob, who was the one standing on her left removed his helmet and blushed as some of his squadmates came over to tease him. "Is that your girlfriend?" as they poked at him, "Stop it guys... we've been over this" but she turned around, with a serious look on her face and shoved Zaps directly up to the neck of one of the squadmembers. "At least he'll have one."
