- Thunder: The MRX-E is designed to project arcs of lightning, similar in nature to Sith Lightning, in a directed and controlled manner. It is capable of hitting several targets at once, and even jump between close conductive surfaces.
- Charge: The MRX-E is capable of overloading energy shields or electronic circuitry, through flooding it with overwhelming amounts of electrical energy.
- Ammunition: Each energy cell for the MRX-E only has the capacity for four shots before it must be replaced. Each cell can be recharged overtime through direct sunlight, but this will take several hours.
- Range: The MRX-E has a very limited range, and accuracy will become next to nonexistent after only eight meters, requiring the user to be dangerously close to a target to properly use the weapon.
The MRX-E is the invention of Kreslin Westwind, following a rather annoying encounter with a Sith warrior. The foe he faced was overly fond of Sith lightning during their engagement during the liberation of Mandalore, and Kreslin decided to make a weapon to give Sith a taste of their own medicine in a sense. The MRX-E is capable of projecting arcs of electrical energy at a target with the simple pull of a trigger, and well designed to be a nuisance to force users in a fight.
