Description:
Several places along the hyperlanes have long distances between planets and few large ships have planetary landing capabilities. With this in mind MandalTech began designing a station for a general refueling station. The MT 3000 is the result of a great deal research and reviewing of other civilian stations such as Trist-Class Repair & Refueling Station , PY-11 Production Yard Station and Protectorate Trade Station. MandalTech included some amenities in the design for workers and ship crews to use while off duty or refueling. The overall intent is to provide neutral large scale fuelling to a variety of ships at the same time with the ability to service said ships with moderate repairs and routine maintenance. Large governments and companies will be able to purchase stations for general use and MandalTech's owner intends donate the first station to Mandalorian space near Taris for use along the Hydian Way. The station can support 15 100m - 300m ships at one time but not while other ships are docked as it uses the same docking ports for larger ships. this means while 10 ships of 300m - 1000m are docked only 5 100m - 300m can dock. Along the same lines if one 1000m to 2000m ship is docked then only 5 300m -1000m can be docked and 2 ships at 100m - 300m. So the maximum amount of ships docked on external ports is 15 unless a ship of 1000m - 2000m is docked which reduces the maximum available ports to 8. The internal hanger can carry 20 station owned freighter sized ships with extra room for 10 light transports (YT-1300 sized) and 24 fighters (X-wing size).
