Description: Produced as part of a series of cybernetic eyeballs that aimed to expand the possibilities of human seeing, the X-4 Prototype Multi-Function Cybernetic Eyes are subtle, functional, and comfortable. Wired directly to the Argo Labs Motherboard in a subject's brain, it allows for direct interface with the on-board computer system, allowing the subject to monitor all aspects of their cybernetics via a toggle-able Heads Up Display. The four alternate vision modes correct a range of defects in normal human visual perception; thermal, night, and EMF modes are useful in a wide variety of contexts, while the unique Tactical Mode provides ultra-live feedback and data-analysis of moving targets, projectiles, energy types, and cataloged technology. These cybernetic eyes, while more resilient and resistant to damage than a squishy organic eye, require careful calibration which can be disrupted by strong impacts or certain energy fields (EMP), requiring at least 10 seconds to re-calibrate.
