It just occurred to me that while there are other factions who allow multi faction membership; it just might not be the case with Omega Pyre.
It honestly depends on what the other faction's core mission, ideals, and the like are; but I'll toss up the first few that will likely get you summoned to the Lord or Lady Protector's office if Headquarters finds out you are part of them.
So without further ado, let me explain the three options.
Full Employee - Meaning that the Protectorate is the only major faction you are a part of. However, you are allowed to be part of as many minor factions as you like.
Reservists -- but must be approved by the Lord or Lady Protector, but you retain the privileges of a full time employee on a case by case basis. Usually granted to established Protectorate members who have served and proven their loyalty to the Protectorate. They are able to join multi-factions at their discretion.
Freelancer - This means that we use your services from time to time on a contract basis. If that is the case, you don't have a rank -- and i'll be tossing up a thread for those who would like to be considered freelance contractors of OmegaPyre.
Meaning you don't get the awesome pay / medical and dental plan It's a per job offer.
Currently, the multifaction membership with the following factions are currently frowned upon:
More will be likely to come, so please keep looking at this thread as we update.
If you are part of these factions currently we can roleplay finding out ICly and getting a summons if you want a bit of dramatic flair in your life --- you never know if you'll get pink slipped or hired on to be a spy for OP !
This is because we are a Neutral Good / Lawful Good Faction. We don't deal with the Sith nor do we deal with criminal activity.
That being, if you are part of another government entity, that could potentially be a conflict of interest unless you are in an ambassador role.
The factions that would get blacklisted persay will be based on IC knowledge of said faction. We can't obviously blacklist a faction we haven't heard of or come to contact to.
This also gives our members an IC reason to use those multifaction memberships as well as provide intel for OP if you are ok'd to be a double agent for us.
If you have any questions, concerns, or counters, please feel free to post them here.
