+ Fast and Nimble + Due to the small size, streamline shape and addition of maneuvering jets, the droid vessel is alarmingly fast and agile.
+ Appendage Upgrade + The simple upgrade gives the droid vessels a marked improvement in combat capabilities.
+ Swarm + With a high squadron count, the ships are hard to catch by themselves and rely on a storm of weapons to bring down targets.
+ Choices Choices + The addition of the decision chip does allow the droid system to advance its own computing and processing systems.
+ Quicker Separate Processors + The addition of the GwendoLyn chips allows each fighter to process incoming information with tremendous speed to make tactical decisions.
+ SLAM Drive + The addition of the Advanced SLAM drive gives the drones a speedy trick to alarm and or confuse the enemy. Making an already small, quick target even quicker very suddenly.
- Easy to knock out - With really no armor to speak of, the droid vessels are easily knocked out of commission for a number of reason.
- Limited Weapons - By themselves, they are annoying at best given they lack a large collection of weapons.
- Ion/EMP - A dedicated burst will force these drones into a shutdown state until enabled either remotely, or directly.
- Choices Choices - It's a droid fighting against sentient beings. The decentralized central processors store the data, but the ships have to integrate that information.
- Processing Speed - Regardless of the capability to process information quickly, cold hard logic ultimately cannot compare to sentient wit and feeling.
- SLAM Drive - While the SLAM drive is active, the vessel is without weaponry and is little more than debris shooting across space.
While her previous two iterations of drone starfighters were not disappointing, Niki felt the need to take the designs a step further. Conceding a bit more surface area to the task, she combined the bomber and starfighter interceptor capabilities into a single droid starfighter, allowing for an en masse style of operation of one droid force rather than requiring separate specialized drone starships.
