- Material: Phrik metal cage pieced together with “living” joints from A’Mia’s own form with the use of Sith alchemy, implanted into the neti’s body with the Orchid contained inside. A’Mia’s body provides the plant with life support and in turn she can use its abilities to bolster her own.
- A Murakami Orchid being bonded to the botanical shapeshifter grants both unique qualities borrowed from the other in a dark and twisted symbiotic relationship.
- Long Range Telepathy- the orchid is intrinsically telepathic and therefore grants its host the same ability. A’Mia can speak with enemies and allies even across long distances. Example: A’Mia could communicate with anyone she has passing familiarity if they are both on the same planet. In the vacuum of space, her reach might be yet farther provided there is a relatively clear line from herself to her target.
- Increased Range of Force Abilities- the host of the Murakami Core is granted enhanced range of abilities. For instance, A’Mia’s shatter point ability can extend beyond just physical sight.
- Puppet Master- A’Mia can utilize the core to hold sway over semi-sentient and non-sentient sithspawn and exert her will over them like puppets.
The above abilities dictate what could happen- they do not enforce outcomes on PCs or the NPCs controlled by PCs who are not my own.
- Inexorably Bound- the orchid and neti have become one and the same, their fates intertwined. If the Orchid Core were somehow removed from A’Mia and separate from her for too long, the plant would die and the woman would suffer great pains at the loss.
- Strange Empathy- the Murakami Orchid Core enforces some twisted sense of empathy in its host, something that the neti has never before concerned herself with. The boon of telepathy and more keen psychic abilities come with the trade off that her mind is more susceptible to emotional manipulation.
- Forced Hibernation- should the Murakami Core come under the sway of powerful force suppression/ nullification, the orchid itself enters a twilight state of being. Though undamaged due to continued life support from A'Mia's own body, the orchid will slow activity to a point of suspended animation akin to hibernation. This means that A'Mia does not benefit from her strange bond with the plant, relying instead on her own innate abilities without the added benefit of amplifying them until the plant reawakens.
A'Mia first came into possession of the Murakami Orchid after the events at Odacer-Faustin, wherein she and Darth Caedes made their way into the once proud academic institution there. The academy was later gutted, anything of use or value taken for the sake of improving Kor'ethyr's own. This is also where A'Mia took possession of the strange and powerful botanical.
She has since taken pains to keep the delicate organism alive, and worked tirelessly to incorporate it into her own form. With the guidance of her Lord Master, through ritualistic experimentation, and with use of her own Sith alchemy, she has created the Murakami Orchid Core. Two have become one and if A'Mia's will be done, they shall never part again.
