music choice / questions

[Barwein Slovjen]

Are certain songs restricted in a pg-13 enviroment , or are they fair game? I had planned on playing a few rap songs at some point ,as apart of my posts I have seen people do this when looking up older role plays . I can always have the clean versions of each song if I need too. I just want to know the rules so I keep the atmosphere of the community. Which I am loving.

I always go with what I might hear on the radio, especially since if you ask me they're a little OVERzealous with censorship on American radio. If they're slinging racial slurs and f-bomb's left and right in the song, then its probably best to find a clean version.

[member="Barwein Slovjen"] What works for me is to stick to instrumental music. There's still some means to convey a particular emotion without relying on lyrics.
