Music-Depository Thread/Guide?

At one point or another, I am confident that 99% of the writers on this board (myself included) have been writing in a thread when suddenly they stumble onto a scenario that would be perfect with a song for the other participants to listen to while reading the post. After all, music can fuel the muse during the writing process, and afterwards can help convey the overall feel of the scene that words cannot describe by themselves.

I have been mulling over this idea for the past couple of days of whether or not there should be (or rather, could be) a guide, of sorts, containing all sorts of songs that are then sorted into categories based on what scenario they'd be good for (I.e. comedic battle, running away, dramatic death, stuff like that). Then if a writer wants to use a song but doesn't know where to start (I myself suffer from this), he or she can simply peruse the categories until they find one they like -- and/or get a better idea of what they're looking for.

But I wasn't about to go and post it up without feedback or anything, so let me know what y'all think.

xD I'm glad you guys proved my point. So if I were to put up said thread, where would I start it? Blog post? General discussion? Or the writer's workshop?
