Magma bubbles, these were always something to capture the eye. Every time as he approached the planet, a part of Valashu flexed, ready for combat. Yet, even counting that, the bubbling always distracted him at least for a time. It was like boiling water, yet thick, viscous and deadly.
Steering their ship downward, Valashu called out, "Something is wrong..." At that moment all thoughts went from the magma, left behind the wonder of his still living. A primal part of Valashu, the part that had driven him to the Sith, took over. Suddenly his gaze narrowed. Hair stood on end along his arms. Thrusting out his hand, a Force Bubble surrounded the two of them.
Precisely at the same time the ship was lit up. It blew to smithereens around them. Pieces battered his mental projection, causing sweat to rise on his brow. Suddenly the floor beneath them was gone. They were hurtling through space, their velocity that which the ship had previously achieved, thanks to the laws of physics.
"I will need to angle us down. Some one down there is ready to kill anyone approaching. Be wary." His sure gaze could be fear inducing to enemies as he began guiding their free fall. Sensing no danger from the debris, he released the bubble around them and instead envisioned a net beneath them. It quickly wrapped about them and slowed their dall.
Moving along the skies he focused on the ground below. He could see planetary defenses, likely the ones that plucked them from the skies. Away from them he moved, toward a large pedestal that held equipment for monitoring the magma. He landed hard, but far from damaging.
Rolling free of the stop, he hid in a crouch against the wall of electronics. A finger shifted to his mouth. They needed to be silent.
