Description:
The weapon is based on a magnetic field principle, similar to a rail gun and Verpine shatter guns. When shot, the weapon makes no sound, but can cause great kinetic damage despite the small caliber pellet it fires.
The weapons launches metal alloy projectiles using advanced magnetic fields. The MX-1 is nearly silent, has excellent range and accuracy, and inflicted extremely large amounts of kinetic damage. The MX-1 is easy enough to use even inexperienced gunman could do massive damage with a single projectile. In keeping with Mandalorian tradition of versatility the weapon can fire nearly any (less than an inch in diameter) projectile. Also due to a very expensive feature: multicaliber magazine and bore you could fire rocks out of them if you had to.
The materials used also make the MX-1 difficult (not impossible) to detect with metal detectors.
