Baradium can evaporate under certain temperatures. It is, however, the threat of extreme heated temperatures that can cause the compound to overheat and detonate without warning.
DESCRIPTION

Miramax designed the grenade to be deadly effective. The thermal grenade's delivery method is remote active, thus no other delivery method is an option. Because of the delivery method, the grenade is not suited for the battlefield or extreme situations where one can simply 'pull a pin' and throw.

It thrives best when utilized to reach targets where it's not easily accessible by line of sight. The holographic system, linked to Miramax's helmet HUD, allows him to 'see' through the grenades tiny 'eye' to control and direct the grenade to its intended destination.
