My Fault

The Jedi Knight Antares Windu wandered through the halls of the Jedi Temple upon Coruscant. It was one of the few times that he had decided to visit the main Jedi Temple. To see past mentors, the Archives for more knowledge, and to see if he could find any possible Guardian Aspirants within the Jedi Initiates and Younglings. But right now he was leaving the Jedi Temple, or about to, he was going to take a walk through the streets of Coruscant. Something that he used to do quite frequently when he had been attending the Coruscant Academy with his Master.

His black robes trailed behind him slightly, they were open and they revealed two lightsabers upon the belt that was tightened upon his inner robes. Two upon each side, and when he looked down his fingers brushed over both of his weapons. He would be leaving the planet soon enough, perhaps in a few days once he had gathered enough information about a few abilities he was interested in. And then his long strides carried him around the corner.

Antares was moving quite fast, though he never realized it, whenever he moved he moved as if he had a purpose, as if he had some place to go, and when he bumped into @[member="Aika Kawakami"], the hands that were at his side, found their way leaping up to hold the other Jedi Knight before she could fall to the ground. He wasn't really paying attention, evidently, and it was unlike him to just walk into people. Though it seemed as if it happened often enough upon Coruscant, and he smiled at the other Knight. "My apologies."

Aika Kawakami

This was becoming a bad habit..

Ever since she'd one day out with her own master, Aika had began indulging in sweets quite often. Particularly, the a creamy, ice cold treat they;d found while out together. It now seemed like every other day, she was enjoying the cool sensation of the semi-frozen treat cascading over her insides. Spoon by spoon, she shoveled the creamy treat between her lips as if it were her last. "You know, if you keep eating that stuff like that, your gonna get fat.." She snickered lightly at the voice, nodding slightly as she moved about, absent direction. "Mhm, and so will you." It was the happiest, and most relaxed she'd been in weeks. Though that was about to change..

Pivoting about a corner, spoon digging into the bowl for more of her icy delight, Aika found herself running into another. It started her a bit, though her mind remained on one thing. Actually, she was ready to continue moving on without a word. That is, until she realized her hands were no longer holding the small cup facing upward, but outward. A heavy sigh slipped from her lips as her head rolled back slightly, eyes closed. "No need to apologize. But thanks for...catching me, I guess. Though I think you might have a bigger more..cold issue.." Her eyes glanced down, only to see that the collision had knocked the bowl, and its contents, toward the male. Part of her was happy, as it didn't get on her new jacket or pants. However, another small sigh escaped her lips, knowing that her delicious treat was now one someone's clothing, rather than her stomach.

Ah, how cruel fate could be..

He hadn't even realized at first the mess that had gotten onto the front of his robes, and when she spoke he finally realized his hands were still upon her waist and he let go. Antares looked down to the mess upon the lower part of his abdomen, bordering on his thighs, and he shook his head slightly, he didn't really care. He had more robes that were quite literally, exactly the same, and it wasn't as if you weren't allowed to wash Jedi robes. If so, he would have been expelled from the Order long ago. Though when his hands brushed down to wipe it off as best as he could, there was a cold sensation in his hands and upon his torso.

"It is quite alright, Master Kawakami, I believe?" He said once he looked up to look at her. At a distance, his eyes seemed as if they were completely black, but in the close quarters that they were in, she would be able to see the soft brown eyes that he had been born with. "I do not believe we have met officially, I am Antares Windu." He said, and he inclined his upper body slightly to her. It was best to be polite in situations such as these, and when he rose his white teeth emerged within a smile. "Shall I get you more of your icy treat? Or, shall we have a proper meal?" He asked, before adding quickly, "if you'd like."

She took a step back as the beings hands released her. In truth, wrapped up in the loss of her semi-daily snack, she hadn't noticed him even touching her. Nonetheless, Aika watched as he attempted to brush the cream-like snack, but to no avail. It only spread and seemed to make it worse. Her gaze met his own as the sound of her name slithered into her ears. He was familiar, somewhat at least. "Uh... I've seen you before about the temple. Antares, if I'm correct. And it's Aika, not master. At least, not yet. That aside..." Her eyes drifted back toward the mess upon his robes, attempting to hold back her laughter as her hand reached toward him, napkin in tow. "I have a small suspicion that you might need this more than me right now." After all, it wasn't going to clean itself.

"Normally I wouldn't worry about an official introduction, but if you insist.." Her head nodded slightly. "Kawakami, Aika Kawakami. Padawan of Master Matsu Ike, though I suppose that's no longer really accurate any longer. Regardless, she was my master." Honestly, she normally would be the first to initiate a formal introduction. However, anyone would be a bit perturbed after paying for something so delicious and seeing it go to waste. While the thought of being treated to another cup was an incredibly enticing offer, her head shook slowly as she sighed. This was probably karma, somehow. Nearly everyday she'd been guzzling down these sugary sensations like it was the last time. "No thanks, but the thought is highly appreciated. Something tells me I've had enough for a while..."

Oh, who was she kidding? She'd be back tomorrow.

The Jedi Knight took the napkin in his hand with a nod. He dabbed it away to the best of his ability, at least his inner robes held back most of the wetness from his flesh, though when he dabbed it only pressed into him even more. "Thank you." He said with the smallest of smiles. "To refer to you as Master Kawakami, is a way of respect. It isn't reserved solely for Padawans to Masters, and everyone else to Masters of our Order." He said with a nod of his head. And it was a true fact, Padawans referred to Knights as Masters, as were Knights to refer to other Knights as Master, and of course Masters as 'Master', it was only respectful after all.

He frowned when she rejected him, not the fact that he had offered her another cold treat, but because she completely ignored his attempts at a 'date.' And she had enough? Was that her response, it wasn't, evidently, because it seemed like she was still referring to her treat that was upon him. "No dinner then?" He asked as a way to reinforce his first statement, it was almost embarassing to do such a thing, though he didn't voice it, or seem to appear to have such an opinion.

(Sorry for the delay!)

"Well, it's a bit extra, in my own opinion. If you want to call me something, Aika will do just fine." She chuckled quietly to herself as her gaze shifted towards him. In all honesty, there was more to it than that. Every time someone referred to her as a master, she felt as if she was being put up on a pedestal. It wasn't something that she wanted to get used to. It wasn't a feeling she wanted to get used to..

"You idiot. He's not trying to buy you something just to be nice.. If you get the picture.."

The words ran through her head, yet didn't click for a few moments. However, as she realized the meaning of the words, so she realized what situation she'd actually found herself in. Her eyes blinked a few times, simply staring at the Knight. Was she really being asked out? Was he really asking her out on a date? Was she actually being hit on?! Everything seemed to slow for a moment as the two stood there, her mind seemingly blank.

"Uh.... Wow. Just...wow." Her hand rose to scratch at her head slightly, eyes drifting away. "Uh... It's a bit early for..dinner." The mix of shock and flattery had essentially left the young woman speechless, unsure of how to even answer the question correctly, let alone how to respond to his advances.

"Smooth.. Real smooth."

The Jedi Knight remained silently for a few moments, again she did it, though he didn't voice anything just yet. To him, she seemed kind of odd. Though when she said he could just call her 'Aika' he inclined his head to her. "Then you may simply call me Antares, Aika." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. The cold of the ice cream seemingly gone from his mind for the moment. Though he was still aware of it seeping further into his clothes subconsciously.

"Very well then." He replied at her second declination. It just wasn't meant to be apparently, and he inclined his head with the faintest of smiles on his face and he turned to walk to where ever his chambers were.

Some are simply too nice for their own good...

"Antares, wait up. You know, just cause I said no to dinner, doesn't mean we can't still just...enjoy each others company. I mean, we could just chat for a bit.." Indeed, she was far too nice. Aika felt bad for turning him down. Then again, she had good reason to. While they knew one another, it was by name only. They'd never so much as even had a conversation. If he other half was right, and it seemed she was, it made little sense for him to ask such a thing of her. Yet, to send him packing without even giving him a chance seemed wrong..

Well, at least it felt that way to her.

Antares stopped moving and his head rotated on his shoulder to look at the other Jedi Knight. "The remainder of your treat is seeping into my clothes." He said and he started walking forwards again. "Come, I guess." He said with a shrug of his shoulders and he was moving to his chambers, figuring she was following behind him. It had only taken a few minutes of silence, no doubt the both of them just thinking of what they had gotten themselves into, and once they were outside Antares's rooms, he stopped and looked to her and said, "wait." He said as if it wasn't obvious enough. "Or you can come in."

But by the time he said his final words, he was already entering into the chambers to take off his robes and swap into new ones.

(Sorry for the slow response. Life is kicking my behind..)

That certainly wasn't the reaction she expected, but then again, what could she expect? She did just shoot him down, even if it was done politely. Actually, was there even a polite way to do such a thing? Who knows? Aika certainly didn't. After all, this was her first time turning someone down. Then again, she'd never actually found herself in such a situation before. Regardless, she sauntered behind him, hands remaining clasped as they silently moved about. If anything, it was more awkward than pleasant...

Arriving before his chambers it was the sound of the doors sliding open that brought her back to reality, but his words that caught her attention.

"C-come in? You mean...like, into your chambers? With you? While you change?...." Anyone could tell where this was going, based on the low tone and stuttering of her voice. To make matters worse, her face turned the deepest hue of red humanly possible, her feet shuffling back a few steps as the socially awkward Aika reared its head for the first time in years. "I- I don't think that would be...appropriate. No!...no. I'll just wait out here...until your done."

@[member="Antares Windu"]

Antares Windu shrugged when she had declined. It had only taken him a few minutes and he was already out with a fresh set of robes. They looked exactly the same, the only difference being that there were no ice cream stains on the front of the robes anymore. "I am done." He said simply.

"What do you enjoy to do, Aika?"
