My Trust before My Money

Jaster was sitting in his Viceroy Office within the Conglomerate Trade Plaza, he was buried under a pile of papers that were to forgive the allies for the limited ships they had. He hopped today that would change, but there was still some time before his meeting with [member="Animus Malgus"] was to occur.

Jaster stood from his office chair and looked into the skyline of the capital city of Val'hala, Olympus. It had just become a level city like that of Coruscant, and Jaster was becoming a accustom of the urban life of the planet. Jaster of course was busy with work so he could never truely enjoy the nightlife, but he could see the clubs from his vantage in the center building.

Jaster office was pretty average, as his assistant decorated it and Jaster just got use to it before he knew it. It had wooden bookcases filled with philosophy and historical data books. A large PlasmaGlass stood behind Jasters desk and overlooked the city. There were chairs in front of Jaster wooden desk that was mounted to the floor, they seemed to be fabricated and comfortable to those of the metal ones in most offices. The door and entrance were not glass but of dark wood painted over with a metallic gray to bounce the sunlight thought the office.

As Jaster stood looking over the city his assistant Dar'Tair entered the room. "Sir, your guest has arrived."

Jaster nodded and she went to retrieve the young man to take him to Jaster office, Jaster took a seat before he could arrive.

Animus had never been to this world, hell he had never even heard of it through his little birds which was a first.
Considering the Size of the place and the level mercantilism being conducted it came as a surprise, however at the summons for a business meeting the Viceroy [member="Jaster of Clan Awaud"] Animus was more than Excited.

He had donned the robes of his Father, Nabooian Fashion sense was often extravagant but this cloak although formal kept the Naboo style.
Animus was a Sith in training, but he considered Political skill, Mercantilism and Grasping of the Trade Concept a must for any Sith.

Animus Walked through the sliding door smiling at the attractive young lady which passed him He, as Tradition in naboo, took three steps into the office and Bowed "Viceroy Jaster, I thank you for your Hospitality and warm welcome, I am Animus Malgus at your service "
Animus raised his head from the Bow and greeting a Warm smile. To any other person this office might pass by as Unremarkable, but to Animus, this Was exactly was he envisioned having for himself one day... Down the to Skyline view of the City nightlife.

Animus took a moment to take in the surroundings, seeming pleased he took the seat assigned for him at the other end of the desk of the Viceroy. He did not know exactly how or what this meeting would bring about, but if it was half a fruitful as his Last meeting in Mustafar, then Animus would be that closer to his "Dream Project"... The Cortan Blade...

Jaster stood up from his seat as the young man entered and bowed. Jaster was no stranger to Naboo tradition, after all he served as a security commander for the Royal Princess of the three houses. He seemed to be getting a lot of representative from the magnificent planet, his Exsecutive Chairwomen was from Naboo. They were an interesting bunch, the people of that planet.

Jaster bowed in responce to the man, "It's a pleasure to host you sir, I hope your flight here was of no problem, this humble place is a ways away from the core."

Jaster gestured with an open hand to show the gentlemen to his seat, and as close as he could time it be sat down with the man. He was respectable for a Sith, but Jaster knew some Sith that were very buisness like and somewhat kind. In the world of politics and buisness, harsh words and thoughts were sometimes the destruction of ones self.

He spoke up, "Well I know why your here sir, but I am not yet convinced that a man of your statues will be able to fulfill the offered my organization craves, is there something you have that can change my mind?"

Animus Smiled as he sat, listening intently to the words of the VIceroy and thinking to himself what would be the best course of action.
"Yes the flight and transportation was delightful" Animus smiled but then his visage turned serious as he said.

"That will depend on the demands of your associates, specifically what they might need and then how to achieve it" Animus chimed in matter of factly.
Animus Paused to let his words sink in then continued. "I was a fighter pilot for 5 years on Naboo and served as the royal escort for the prominent families on various trips, i also have worked alongside the very best Naboo has to offer in the area of Engineering and Spaceship design"
Animus Paused again this time musing upon his thoughts as if searching for something... the right words...

"I am currently working on a project... small for now.. discreet and off the beaten path. My Project concerns the establishment of a special workshop in which i am able to engineer alongside whatever allies and funding sectors that are willing to join; Special Technologies, Starships, starfighters, engines, weapons etcetera."

Jaster pulled up his file on his computer terminal, he had a prestiges background. All he said was true, at least on the information he received from his spies and information brokers. He like many other buisness people, placed more value on information then that of material needs. With his accomplished as a trade owner, Jaster invested much of his money into creating spy networks in many of the current and up and coming nations.

He looked at the man before him, "You are correct, what you offer is of a real need my my company and of this organization, my key thing is that we require friegates to transport my clients goods, as well a classified ship parts," Jaster plugged a Datapad into his computer and downloaded some information, and then slid it into the side of [member="Animus Malgus"]. "We at the Conglomerate currently have no alliance with the Sith, but we will supply you with supplies to build a Shipyard as well as metals and construction droids, ultimately we are offering to build your company from the ground up and fund it, but while I believe that you are a well able man for the job we need, other board members would need reassurance that you are, one of the questions were asked of where your company would be located?"

Animus Listened intently to the Viceroy eyes the Datapad and scratching his chin in thought. Animus had never actually had or worked for a Company, but he had helped his father in the collection of relics and exchange of goods so he thought, That was kind of a small company.
Once the Viceroy had finished Animus with visible concern pondered the next words he would say.
"i trust the information will be... well guarded " he eyed the Viceroy with a sly smile. The location of his project HAD to be kept in total secrecy, that was part of what made his project special. "The construction is underway in Mustafar... The planet is ideal for the kind of work i mean to do, the vast abundance of material and the workforce my.." Animus Paused careful not to mention any names "Allies in Mustafar is promising. "

So it was the King of Muustafar that was helping the young man out, it was a given, nothing happened on Mustafar without Ultimate knowing about it. Jaster always considered a contract with the man, even give him the rights to mine of Subterrel. The android however was always on the move, and Jaster never had free time to contact the man. Jaster looked over his desk where datapads and sign pads were scattered about. He found what he was looking for and then proceeded to read it to [member="Animus Malgus"].

[comor=#8cff00]"It would seem that one of our colony ships were delayed and we have 2,000 idle workers along with a shipment of Construction droids and even some metals fresh out of the refinory,"[/color] Jaster placed the Datapad on the table and looked back at the man, "We can construct you a shipyard and even give you a few workers, but in return we need your cooperation in building this organization a constant supply of ships and interceptors, we will then help you with any project you require."

Animus crossed his legs and smiled in satisfaction. Things were rolling along as smooth as butter.
"As you wish, Interceptors are simple to mass produce, But i will let you know that i like quality over quantity. I'd rather give you 10 Ships you can be proud of than 100 pieces of semi functional scrap metal. " Animus said still smirking. That part as much was unegotiable.

"I will then just have to contact my associate and let him know you are coming. That is, unless you have a better, more convenient location you had in mind for the shipyard. The workshop in Mustafar then could be isolated and discrete which is why i fear a massive shipyard in mustafar although a tempting ideal is not in the best interest of my associates... although it can be negotiated. I would not see the problem, Interceptors are small enough and easy to build, but frigates and larger vessels..." Animus cocked his head. He had seen the facility in question, Unless Ultimatum specifically ordained it, Nothing bigger than 75 meters could be made there, and mass producing large quantities of large vessels was impossible but of Interceptor class and lower was easy. Then again. Ultimatum did not know that Animus now had the Power to actually Construct a shipyard and the allies to do it, he dared not speak on behalf of the Lord of Mustafar, but he did not think it a far fetched idea to consider the construction a possibility.
"Hence the question is... Location... location... Location" Animus Laughed as he said the last sentence. "Either way, You terms are agreeable, if you help me build the shipyard, you will have a constant flow of Good Ships" Animus Emphasized the "Good" Part. He hated compromising quality.

Jaster continued to look at [member="Animus Malgus"], he was correct, Mustafar was considered a neutral territory, but anyone who worked in the south Galaxy knew that Ultimate was the true lord of the planet. If a Trade Con sponcered shipyard appeared above the planet, he would question it and possibly force a payment of sorts. Jaster didn't want to get in a dispute with this man, as so, he decided on using another planet to offer the man. There were only a handful of planet Jaster had influence over, and only two that were within shipping range of Mustafar.

Jaster spoke, "Well Val'hala is always an option, located close to the conglomerate and on a Hyperlane, though the planet Rutan is an option, we have had deals with them for a while and the Goverment is open to relations, but it would take some time, best bet would be the here or Mustafar."

Jaster also brought up his subsidiary company that brings metals and ores for the company, "As for goods, we receive our own metals from a members company called Val'hala Mutural so it's good resources."

Animus Pondered. He did like the concept of it being stationed here in Val'hala and considering it was near shipping line it was not bad and really what he needed for the Workshop on Mustafar where specific materials and most importantly exotic metals. His dream project would be long in the making, but oh so worth it.
But for the Viceroy's desires Any location would suit, Animus would personally make sure the Viceroy would be pleased with his investment... but what decision would garner the most benefit?...
"I like both of your ideas, my associates have not yet heard that i have your support so before we make a final decision if you like i could have a little talk and mention the idea and see what they would think about it. Nothing lost in asking now is there? " Animus Smirked and laughed. Yes, He started to like this Viceroy quite a bit, all business like and what not, it was reassuring.
"Rash bold decisions are often the end of us master jaster." Animus said lighting a death stick, he did not see a no smoking sign. "The more meticulous and careful our moves are, the more stable and secure our dealings will be... My father's words" Animus half smiled.

Jaster had no time waiting, but their was an added bonus to the deal that Jaster was in dire need of. After all there was a reason Jaster needed this man to build him ships and finance him so well. With that he passes a design over to the man, "Your father sounds like a wise man, but their is an immediate need, for this organization is in dire need of small frigates, these vessels are to transport shorter distance, with these, we require quantity over quality, 300 vessels will be sufficient."

Jaster looked at the man as he retrieved the designs, "I can wait, for the wisdom of your father I will let you go and speak with your associate and decide on what you would require."

Animus eyed the designs the viceroy handed him and raised his eyebrow. Simple, Easy to mass manufacture, overall cheap. Nodding as he skimmed the details of the of the Designs. "this is easy to manufacture, i am confident i can get 300 of these ships with a full stocked shipyards in less than a month... if there are no, inconveniences..." Animus said as he took the designs to his pocket.
"Less than that if we change the more expensive materials to lighter cheaper ones. " Animus stood and was confident this meeting was a pure golden success ticket to greatness, either way the talk with his associates went, both parties would be more than happy with the results. He bowed to the viceroy. "I will contact you within a standard day with the Answer from my associates. Either way, Prepare the workers and materials" Animus Smirked. "We have a shipyard to build."
Animus turned and walked towards the exit but before leaving he cocked his head. and said. "We can have a drink in one of your Cities less business like establishments if you'd like. I plan to anyways" Animus laughed as he turned and showed himself out.

As the man left, Jaster cracked a smile, with being a Viceroy of one of the largest Trading Companies in the Unknown Region, Jaster knew full well that he couldn't leave this office. His Exsecutive Chairwomen would have his head if he didn't finish this quarters updates. Jaster was an investor in young ideas and operations, they were much cheaper then negotiating with larger companies. Best part about this investment was that he recieved ships, but also allowed the young man to sell profit off the idea, allowing his investment to continue to grow. It was further bait of luring both the man and his Assosiates into the Conglomerate. Once they joined, Jaster would have the next Trade Federation, complete with droid armies and massive fleets of ships. He was already swimming in more money then Jaster could imagine, investing it in smaller companies and bringing them into the fold was what he really wanted.

He turned to face the window, looking out as the sun rose from the night sky and brough a new horizon to Jasters view.
