Strengths:
- Small Profile: The small profile of the fighter makes it difficult to hit
- Advanced Manuevering System: The onboard system combined with the advanced jets and thrust vector control allow for an incredibly agile starfighter
- Auxiliary Fighter: Small and compact, the Fang fits comfortably into many modified freighters' cargo bays or single fighter bays.
- Stealth: The sensor dampners and engine baffling systems equipped to the Mynock allowed it to slip by most passive scanning systems in use by militaries the galaxy over.
- Wing Mounted Engines: Crucial to the maneuverability of the fighter, targeting these jets and destroying them can send the fighter wildly out of control.
- Short Range Hyperdrive: Without constant refueling the hyperdrive of the Mynock can only carry it a handful of systems.
- Slave Rigging: Advanced computer viruses and proficient slicers can take control of the ship mid flight.
Equipped with a rudimentary hyperdrive unlike its original design, it allowed Davin to make short jumps to wear his quarry may be without risking his ship or crew. By removing and in some cases simply moving, many of the redundant systems in the rear of the ship and expanding the height of the vessel, a small, cramped passenger bay was also added. This expanded its mission profile signifignatly, allowing the Mynock to drop off small infiltration teams behind enemy lines. The Mynock was also equipped with a full slave system which allowed Davin to utilize a remote control function either from his armor or the Tal Ka'ra herself. While incredibly useful in pinch situations, the very nature of slave rigging meant that it was vulnerable to attacks from slicers and computer viruses.
Heavily modified and small enough to fit into the modified cargo bay of the Tal Ka'ra, the Mynock was a deadly fighter with an even deadlier pilot. While not often used due to the Tal Ka'ra's superior versatile when fully crewed, it could be useful in niche situations. It was also rated for racing which earned Davin a few extra credits in the Outer Rim circuits.
