Appearance: Although of average height and a slender build, Myrin still sticks out in a crowd. Her dyed hair, facial tattoos, and intense gaze make her a striking figure to behold - and she clearly enjoys the attention. She radiates a feisty energy, meeting the gaze of anyone who looks at her with a glance that's half flirtation and half challenge. When she wants to go unseen, however, she blends into the shadows with frightening ease.
Equipment: Myrin makes good use of stealth field generators, computer spikes, and security tunnelers to get into places where she's not wanted. She always travels armed, but rarely are her armaments obvious; she favors vibroknives, hold-out blasters, and other easily-concealed weapons. Two of her favorites methods of attack are Rodian throwing razors and her molecular stiletto, exotic death-dealers that enemies seldom expect.

Myrin was born to a refugee family in the Corporate Sector, political exiles who had gotten themselves into trouble on Thustra. Her parents tried to teach her two things: their traditions, and a sense of justice. On the first, they failed completely; Myrin had no interest in being tied down by her people's distant culture. On the second, they half-succeeded. Myrin came to view the galaxy as deeply unjust... so she decided she should take whatever she could get away with.
That philosophy got her busted for spice possession at the age of fourteen, and she did a long year in the military reform school known as the Arrava Juvenile Correctional Facility. Arrava was meant to teach her orderliness and respect for the law; instead, it codified her hatred of authority, and of any restriction whatsoever on her personal freedoms. She reoffended almost immediately when she was released, and was sent back until she aged out when she turned eighteen.
At Arrava, Myrin learned all sorts of useful skills: how to steal, to make secret deals, to go unseen, to fight, to pick locks, to hack computer systems. She became an expert at maneuvering around the facility's rules... but that didn't mean she hated the place any less. When she was released, she was assigned a probationary job doing corporate data entry. Predictably, she hated it, and turned to spice and alcohol financed by petty crime to help her deal with life.
Eventually, that wasn't enough, and Myrin decided to stave off her nightmares by going back to Arrava... and burning it down. She was arrested at the scene, injuring several law officers on her way down. In light of her repeated offenses, she was sentenced to twenty years at New Star's End, a high-security prison. Myrin served eight years there, stewing in rage and becoming a much more hardened criminal in order to survive. Then she managed to escape.
On her own at last, Myrin drifted across the galaxy, getting mixed up in various criminal organizations and anarchist movements. It wasn't until she fell in with Darkwire that she found a group where she felt she belonged... at least, for now.
