B IO G R A P H Y:
Commander Kae's life prior to her enlistment in the Imperial Navy is of no note to her file, aside from its affects on her behavioral patterns. Rather, Imperial Record for Commander Kae begins in earnest upon enlistment:
Myrissa Kae was born within Imperial Space, on the planet of Scarif. At age 18 she enlisted in the Imperial Navy, initially serving as a fighter pilot, and later a fighter-control officer. As her career advanced, Kae moved from fighter-craft operations into command roles aboard the ships that she served upon. Her roles included sensors, communications, and weapons officer — each of which gave Kae an opportunity to learn the workings of a ship's bridge. After several years of service Kae set her eyes upon Officer Training school, and securing a recommendation for admittance. Friction with her commanding officers lead Kae's goal of Officer Academy grow further and further away. While Myrissa is an extremely loyal individual, earning her loyalty requires a measure of competence and merit determined proprietarily by her.
Many of her initial commanding officers within the Imperial Navy have failed to meet those standards, leading to subordination from Myrissa as she acted in defiance of them. Ultimately the poor marks that she accumulated, and the transfers that resulted from them, weren't able enough to keep her from Officer's Training. Many of her more rebellious tendencies were ironed out in Officer School, forging a more obedient an efficient officer out of Myrissa. Still, no amount of training could beat all of it from her.
Upon graduation, even if Myrissa had developed a greater penchant for obedience, she was transferred to lesser portions of the Imperial Fleet. Her importance and opportunities for attention were cut short, and finally she was placed on a small frigate, under an equally exiled captain, to rot. Myrissa now serves as second-in-command aboard the Existentiality.
