Another day on Korriban, quite precisely, she had to come here again. This time she was not here for academic reasons, but to take data from someone. No, it wasn’t tied to her double agent work, it was more of a corporate thing. Fortunately, she was able to do this soon, so she still had some time before she had to go back to either Dromund Kaas or Kalidan.

It was a really difficult decision because she just didn’t have any tasks for a few days. So the decision is to choose the company of her husband, Tubrok Ragal, or her lover, AMCO AMCO . Perhaps the best thing would have been if you could enjoy the company of both of them at the same time. But unfortunately, this was not currently one of the options available.

So she stayed at Korriban for a bit more and decided to go to the academy and see how the education of Sith disciples and acolytes was still going on. It wasn't spying, Tacitus knew exactly these, and Ingrid was curious, never having anything to do with any Sith Academy. But she didn’t even know much about Warden’s training either, because she didn’t get in touch with the others until @Dart Tacitus taught her.

Walked down the halls of the academy, looking around. In fact, she might even choose a disciple for herself. In principle, she was able to train a disciple, although she knew as much about Sith methods as she had stolen from the entity. And that was thousands of years of knowledge and not fresh. She soon also found a group who were just practicing fencing and Force using. So she leaned on one of the columns close to them and watched the practitioners from there.

One...

Two...

Three...

Strike!

T
he sparring Acolytes attack in unison, heavy training weapons impacting against each other, against flesh, against armor. Two go down, one screaming as her wrist is snapped in the wrong direction. A heavy price to pay for a lesson learned. Near the center of the pack Serixibis can be seen, stumbling backward after parrying an overhand blow from a man nearly twice her size. The weighted quarterstaff in her grasp is twirled once around as she steadies, boots spread wide as the followup attack from her partner is batted aside and the reverse end of her weapon snaps upward in a parrying thrust that connects squarely with the Acolyte's throat!

A hiss of triumph from the Pureblood is drowned by the mans strained gurgling, his breath stolen as the muscles in his throat are bruised and collapse. A second strike from her weapon meets his left knee, the pop of cartilage on steel echoing through the training area as her sparring partner is swept off his feet and onto his back.

"23, finished!"
She calls to the crowd, and the medical droids hovering above ready to tend to the wounded as she detaches from the pack and moves toward the tall columns of stone that mark the edges of the room. Her weapon is cast aside, both hands cupping together to scoop water from a waiting basin and scrub her face clear of the grit and dust of the arena. As her fingers slide over her eyes her attention is turned to Ingrid, those oily yellow orbs narrowing in mute appraisal of the woman.

"You're not here to fight, and you smell too fine to be a student. What is your purpose?"
Questioning, for an Acolyte. Her slender form slithers away from the basin and over to Ingrid, the din of combat serving to mask their now hushed conversation as she leans against the opposite side of the column.

Overall, she had quite mixed feelings about what she saw during the practice. On the positive side, a sufficiently brutal and effective method was used for the training. The downside is that they could even use it against them, against the Eternal Empire. Deep within herself, she was having a great time making it increasingly difficult to understand how Adrian could have survived in a place like this. Sure, she was less afraid of her lover against Force users than against warriors, but that was a fun thought even then.

She soon noticed that one of the acolytes, who was practicing nearby, was separating from the others and approaching her. She was the girl who proved to be quite adept down there. As the other addressed her, Ingrid turned to the girl and nodded her head slightly.

”Who knows?” she asked mysteriously.

She looked at her calmly and slowly. She seemed talented, one day she might even take a lot. Certainly based on what Ingrid now saw from her. She waited a few more moments before speaking.

”I may be looking for a disciple, but it may also be that I am overseeing the work of the Overseers, how well they are working with you, and what progress they are making with the Acolytes. I saw you fight, you have talent for it, one day you can take a lot more. Is your Force-using skills going so well?”

If she had already said such a thing, she would have taken on the role of inspector, as if she had really come here to check and examine. After all, this is how she can learn the most of the mysteries of the Sith Academies.

Her eyes never left Ingrid's, as unnerving as that may be.

From her spot on the opposite side of the pillar Serixibis studies the new arrival carefully. Much like an old hawk that is used to watching mice run from its shadow. After several long seconds of silent inspection she turns, her attention drifting back to the rest of the sparring Acolytes.

"My might is significant, and I grow stronger by the day. As do all who toil within this place. But that is not why are you here. What secrets have you come here for Outsider? The Overseers brook no oversight, not from you at least. And if you are looking for a disciple that means you have no true place here."

Her right-hand lofts, the nails, chipped and battered as they were are inspected briefly. Yellow eyes drifting back to Ingrid after she finds them...less than satisfactory.

"However, if you had something to ~teach~ me then perhaps we could help one another. I'm always looking for something new to learn and if it comes at a small price...well. I'm sure there's something I know that you would find interesting about this place."

”Just because I hide my strength doesn’t mean I don’t belong here!”

She said infinitely coldly and let her strength/power, the Dark Side, be felt for quite a few moments. She let some of the previously stolen dark emotions be felt by others like anger and rage. It wasn't her own, but no one could say that, and she controlled them perfectly until she decided to throw them out because she didn't need them anymore. She was fine now, she counted on it well when she came to this place. This was necessary to make her look like a Sith, because she controlled her emotions all too well anyway. Too good.

”You still dare to question why I'm here, acolyte?! How do you take the courage to question the work of an inquisitor who working in the Saaraishash?”

As she looked at the girl, the other could feel as if she could see into her soul, though the helmet didn't make Ingrid's eyes or hir gaze visible. Although she would have liked to have put her hands on her hips, but now she wanted to look harder, so she would rather fold her arms in front of her chest and continue the look at the acolyte.

”There is no such thing as “comes at a small price”, girl. We are Sith, I thought you had already learned this lesson. Everything has a price, not even a small one, especially the favours. And yet what could an acolyte like you offer me in return for my knowledge?”
