- Twin J-type Nubian 221 Sub-Light Pulse Engines - The citizens of Naboo were dedicated to the defense of their ecologically sensitive world, and the N-1 was an example of this commitment. Its specialized engine system ensured that fuel would burn hotter in order to reduce harmful emissions. The N-ETL follows this example.

- Advanced Life Support - Great care has been taken to ensure the N-ETL has advanced life support systems. In event of the fighter being badly damaged, these systems should still remain functional, enabling more pilots to survive in hostile situations.
- Nimble - The N-ETL is an exceptionally manuveurable fighter, able to quickly turn and adjust it's heading in the midst of combat. This allows the vessel to outmanuveur most standard fighters.
- Expensive - The chromium used in the production of the N-ETL is expensive to acquire, and as such the N-ETL could never be mass produced for public sale due to the rarity of such a material.
- Blind Spot - Due to the design of the cockpit, it's difficult for the pilot to see directly behind themselves. As such, they must rely on their astromech to cover that field of vision, and it is ill advised for the N-ETL to remain stationary in a combat situation.
Always a lover of his homeworld and it's culture, Darth Xyrah was inspired to replicate the elegant design of Naboo's iconic N-1 Starfighter for usage in his own personal corporate navy and by certain elements of the Kainate. Using the original design as the template, the N-ETL was upgraded with the latest modern technologies and enhancements, and is designed to be stylish and luxurious, yet equally formidable in battle.
Unlike the N-1s used by the Naboo Royal Starfighter Corps, the N-ETL sports a black paint scheme rather than the usual vibrant yellow, giving the vessel a darker appearance and differentiating it from the royal variant.
