Combat-oriented: The layers of duraplast and NT-1 together provide excellent protection against energy weapons, and can withstand an impressive number of shots before they fail. The armor also fares fairly well against slugthrowers and melee attacks with the help of the thermal gel, which helps dissipate some of the kinetic damage.
Mobility: Due to the use of NT-1 in its construction, the suit is very lightweight and easy to move around in. For mercenaries and bounty hunters, who generally spend a great deal of time in their armor, this is of paramount importance. It reduces general fatigue and increases the comfort of wearing armor day-to-day. The Plus-series practically promotes itself!
Scot free: The P-series is designed in such a way that the wearer can disengage all of the armor plating at once – essentially dumping every layer of the armor save for the underlay. This allows for easy escapes into crowds by rapid change in appearance, leaving you clad in mundane clothing. The P-series Concealed armor hidden underneath will still provide a solid amount of protection, allowing you to flee an unfavorable situation and live to fight another day.
No helmet: What it says on the tin. Nadir recognizes that most mercenaries and bounty hunters prefer their own customized sets for what is undoubtedly the most important part of the body. Thus, they sell the P-series without one. In order to achieve full protection, the wearer is going to have to make or purchase a helmet separately.
Joints: To provide the appropriate mobility, joints are necessarily left with less protection and padding than the flat planes of the body. This makes them more susceptible to attacks.
Hot stuff: Classic downside of the NT-1. While the myoflex and thermal gel do their job, everything stops at some point. Flash-heat like that of a grenade is – perhaps counter-intuitively – less dangerous than the continuous barrage of a fully-automatic blaster rifle. While the material is rated to withstand those kinds of temperatures and maintain integrity, the humanoid body decidedly isn’t.
With a firm understanding of their primary customer base – that is, criminals – Nadir provides that level of quality and features that make its products stand out from the overly-saturated market of mediocrity.
Sure, there’s a small ocean of choice out there, but do you really want to go in blind? This is, after all, what’s going to be keeping your entrails from encountering the harsh outside world. Better make the right choice – and the right choice in both offense and defense is, as always, Nadir.
To the mercenaries, bounty hunters, pirates, and all the other criminal ilk who are just starting out, this armor will mean the difference between life and death. But not only that; it’s an investment in your future. Pieces can be easily removed, replaced, or modified; magplates and hardpoints support all kinds of attachments and accessories, as well as allowing for personal adjustment.
It’s an armor that will grow with you on your journey from gang runner to gang leader, always providing you with optimal protection and mobility, adjusted to personal taste.
Buy efficacy – buy Nadir.
