PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Classification: Concealed armor

  • Weight: 1 kg

  • Quality: 8
SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Concealable – the layer of NT-1 and Myoflex used in its construction allows it to be worn under jackets, coats, or even baggy clothing. Due to a complete lack of metal components, the armor also won’t show up on any detectors the wearer might pass through.
Strengths:

  • Sneaky McSneakyface: It’s easily worn under most types of clothing. It’s extremely light. It will bypass checkpoints and metal detectors with ease.

  • Super-mobility: Because of the materials used, the armor features very few hard surfaces at all – with the exception of non-flexing regions of the body. For the most part, the suit feels and wears more like an armor underlay than a full-featured armor suit.

  • Hot stuff: The myoflex under-layer dissipates most of the heat that builds up in NT-1. The suit fares admirably well against blaster fire, but keeping away from full-auto weapons is strongly recommended.
Weaknesses:

  • No stab: While melee weapons will have a hard time piercing the armor, the kinetic and concussive damage of slugs and explosives transfers extremely well because of the armor’s tight fit. The suit might hold, but will your internal organs?

  • No helmet, either: For obvious reasons, the armor does not include a helmet, nor does it include neck or hand protection.

  • Electricity: An unavoidable downside of using NT-1 in the construction of the armor. If you're targeted by electricity-based attacks while wearing this... well. It's in direct contact with skin, and covers most of the body. To be quite blunt – you will die. Nadir strongly recommends employing electricity countermeasures if you're heading into a situation where such attacks are likely to occur. Tl;dr don't negotiate with Sith Lords in this armor.

  • Hot stuff: It won’t melt. But you will. While the NT-1 is rated to withstand blaster bolts, it heats up very quickly. The Myoflex mitigates this to a certain degree, but it can only do so much. When subjected to a continuous barrage of fire, the suit will begin to reach burn-inducing temperatures. Nadir strongly recommends finding cover or fleeing the scene.
DESCRIPTION

The Plus-series Concealed armor fulfills the dual role of low-key protection. It can be concealed under most clothing and snuck past a great many scanners and detectors looking for metals – but all these benefits come at a cost.

Kinetic damage is the suit’s greatest enemy. In sacrifice to concealment, the armor had to be made nearly skin-tight, which of course allows for direct transfer of impacts and concussion damage. While it fares reasonably well against melee weapons – resulting in heavy bruising and similar – slugs and specialized anti-armor weapons will make short work of the wearer.

The tradeoff is, of course, immense mobility. Certain portions of the suit feature reinforced layers – upper back, shoulders, forearms, thighs, shins – but joints and other flexing regions of the body lack this additional padding. The end result is an immensely light suit which still offers very good protection against most common weapons found in the galaxy.

Good infiltrators come and go with nobody the wiser – let the Plus-series Concealed armor take care of your Plan B.

Just in case.

It could take quite a couple of blaster shots to the same location before being penetrated. Obviously stronger blasters would penetrate more quickly.
Ultimately, though, that's irrelevant for the wearer:

  • As mentioned in the above weaknesses, the material itself fares fine against heat and concussion force because of its high fracture toughness and high melting point. However.
  • I was going off the Wookieepedia's entry on Blasters:
Consequently, bolts usually dissipated in a small, but violent, explosion of extreme heat and force upon contact with an unshielded surface, sometimes leaving blast points.
There's both a.) concussive force from the explosion and b.) extreme heat. The concussive force alone would break ribs and such after a couple hits to the same spot, and the myoflex would eventually fail to dissipate the heat build-up in NT-1.
  • Basically, anyone wearing this armor would be turned into organ goulash / cooked alive / burned to a crisp long before the armor would fail.

Does that answer your question?

It does. I am checking in to make sure your logic isn't "you can't shoot me/I wont die or get hurt" while wearing this thing. Thank you.
