That Crazed Witch
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
- Intent: This building within Nar Shaddaa, even when not falling entirely under the Empire's grand influence, should serve as a seat of operations for the operatives (and occasional sith) of the Sith Empire. The idea is to grant the Empire/Saaraishash a pocket of dominion from where they can keep an eye out within this crime-rich area. As a syndicate of sorts, they could maintain connections with the greatest Crimelords and serve as potential liaison between Nar Shaddaa and the Empire. Any other illicit business is pure coincidental, of course.

SETTING INFORMATION
- Structure Name: The Seat of Whispers
- Classification: Syndicate/Seat of Operations
- Location: Nar Shaddaa
- Affiliation: [x] The Sith Empire | Saaraishash
- Accessibility: Hiding in plain sight, as Palpatine has taught us, is often the best way to amass influence. It is located in the centre of civilisation, yet it remains nonetheless 'hidden' in that way that holographic illusions hide its entrance. Those who are aware of its entrance are generally expected to enter it cloaked. As another layer of precaution, the entrance room resembles that of a relative empty storage with a couple of basic, makeshift chairs and old oil and paint splatters. The actual seat of operations rests deeper within, behind a reinforced door still.
- Description: [x] One building after another, though in the much darker environment of Nar Shaddaa, the front of the building resembles that of a random graffiti wall tucked between an endless row of other buildings. Unassuming and easily ignored, the people who lived around this hidden entrance have come and gone and all but remember the true facade of this holographic substitution.
POINTS OF INTEREST
- Entrance
- Bunks
- Worskshop
The workshop will do the trick. The variety of workbenches provide in the need to perform a couple of quick fixes, modifications and maintenance of weapons, armour or simple droids. But it's only that, too. The basics. For more intricate craftsmanship, one would need to see an expert with a better developed workspace in Nar Shaddaa or return to the Empire's zone of influence.
- Computer Nexus
Though the room remains small, the Empire has been so kind as to provide the funds for a rather elaborate computer network that would allow for proper monitoring and slicing. Even then, though the quality is good, it is ill advised to store crucial information considering the low security this place sports. Those making use of the facilities are strongly advised to store all acquired information on chips or within their mental memory - no traces of sith schemes and schematics should be discovered in case of unexpected raids.
SECURITY
Low. This building's security is kept low on purpose, so as not to attract attention. Its existence is mostly kept secret with the help of high-grade holographic illusions and a couple of basic diversions and reinforced doors, but nothing the sort that would keep out a well-equipped tracker intended on finding the place. There are, for example, no laser turrets or other sound-intensive defensive measures. In fact, if there is anything the sort of implied security, it is mostly up to the operatives to make sure of that by means of their personal equipment and abilities.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
There is very little history to tell about this construction. Nar Shaddaa is rife with buildings. Some filled, some empty. This place used to be a simple storage silo before Underworld business and criminal chemistry caused the original owner to lose it. How it ended in the hands of the Sith is kept rather hush-hush, but it would not be all too surprising it ended up in their hands through a gamble or a play of the Force. After that...? The silo was only partially repurposed to the needs of the Saaraishash, as only its end section has known some transformation. The storage was practically split in two, a wall now separating both section. Providing only a singular reinforced door as entrance between the two sections, that which lies behind the wall is nothing all that spectacular either when compared to many other hideouts and seats of operations. And that is exactly how it should be. The whole place sports the basics to bunk, meet up and talk plans or to slice, hack or craft. But in most cases, this place is mostly neglected since most loyalists of the Empire prefer better accommodation - it is only the occasional operative who is told (and remembers) the practicality of this shadowed area who would make use of it for their operations.
