Tertius only asked Chuchi for lightly armored clothing, more concerned with the elegance of it than anything else. But when putting her name to something, Chi prefers to go above and beyond. Each piece of the three-piece suit she put together for him is made of fine Karlini Silk interwoven with light-absorbing shadowsilk. The added threads aren’t enough to bend light around the wearer like a pure shadowsilk weave, but does darken the cloth, lessening reflected light while adding depth to the suit’s blackness.
Backing the outer layer lays a fine kaldrweave which provides most of the protection in addition to altering the clothing to the environment, keeping Tertius comfortable no matter the weather. Kaldrweave also provides impact resistance alongside a concussion-blocking fabric to prevent fast impacts from doing more than leaving a bruise. Lining the suit jacket and forming the rear panels of the vest is a layer of midnight blue dramassian shimmersilk. This final layer is just for style and to ease donning and doffing the knee-length jacket.
All too aware of the perils of high-profile living, Chi cut the fit of the jacket to conceal a shoulder holster opposite a pair of spare power packs, should Tertius feel the need to wear one. The arms are also deceptively tailored to give them wide ranges of motion for comfort and ease of movement.
