THE UNDEFEATED
Hello fellow Bryn'adûl members,
This is going to be a by-monthly update on what we're doing & what we plan to do. This is intended to help guide everyone towards a cohesive grouping of stories that we can all enjoy, and have characters shift from one area to another of a large narrative that will shake Chaos to the core, and hopefully be tons of fun.
This monthly news update will also be accompanied by a small timeline piece, detailing all significant events since the conception of the Bryn'adûl ICly to help members new & old to keep on top of what we're doing and what's important to us, going forward.
The general theme this past while has been evolution. The moving forward and progression of the Bryn'adûl which has been represented by our OOC growth. But, we need to represent it ICly. Soon, we'll be going major. But we need to represent that through our narrative too.
The Bryn'adûl need to expand and strengthen their borders, and following the Heretical attack on the Bryn'adûl in the An'shaernehm of Expansion thread - led by a Brute Heretic. The Heretics were soundly defeated, but even the mere concept of Heretical betrayers sent a fracture of confidence throughout the Bryn'adûl.
Now, this is all set-up as to what is coming next. Which is to say, by majority a split-focus on two things.
1. Bryn'adûl will be introducing a new enforcement, a secret police watching every corner of the Bryn'adûl to ensure absolute loyalty to the Crusade. However this is still a meritocracy, and in this fierce political landscape there will always be those aiming to claim the title of Chieftain themselves. This is something we should explore. Both the pros and cons of heavier enforcement.
2. The Bryn'adûl are going to be ramping up, cloning facilities will be doubled to produce more and more Drones. Additionally, a new position of 'Warlord' is going to be created within the Bryn'adûl as part of the pyramid-scheme. Tathra as Chieftain uses Marauders to represent him where he cannot be and as the Bryn'adûl expands, the Warlords will do the same for Marauders - all owing loyalty to the Chieftain.
These two elements are to play together, build them into and develop your individual stories as part of these key narrative elements. This is the storyline's penultimate step before we decide to go major. Hopefully, with a few more of us we will have sustainable activity to bring this Faction of ours to life as it truly deserves.
