- Lightsaber proof: this weapon is able to with stand lightsaber blows without being cut in half, though it will be deflected, re-directed, or re-routed.
Weaknesses:
- A thrown weapon, this does not have a sure-fire 100% guarantee to hit with the same strength each time
- As an exotic weapon, this requires great time and patience to learn, even longer to master

Akio felt the pull from the Force and dutifully followed it to Tatooine There he found these Force-imbued throwing spikes, a weapon that he himself has trained in the past. When he used these he was surprised to find that they were able to go double the length of the average throwing spike, and were able to deal more bleed damage than the average throwing spike.
The true origins of these spikes goes back to witches of Dathomir. A witch enchanted them with the intent to aid in the protection of her small village. These indeed did their job and were passed down from warrior to warrior as relics. However, as these spikes lost their common usage, they became more ceremonial and less of an actual weapon. At last a foolish heir sold them to a cult of pantheists. These pantheists took these spikes and hid them in a gold cash to their Queen Goddess as an offering. There they would be discovered by Akio.
The wrist guards offer limited protection, though this is negligible; primarily to soften blows, and is blade resistant--however this is merely the result of it being made of leather and is not due to any form of special treatment or properties of this nature.
