Nathan Caburkad (New to this sector of the galaxy)

Hello people of the galaxy. I thought that I would introduce myself while I work on my character, which I shall post hopefully this week. First off, a little about myself, my name is Blake and I am 20 years old. I am in the US military and as such I do have to be out of contact every once in a while (maybe two months out of the year), and so I apologize in advance if I do need to put a role play on pause. Right now I am in Japan for the next few years, and I have to say that Japanese culture is truly a different experience than we are used to in the States . I have been roleplaying in some form or another for about 10 years now. I love to read and write and so I try to paint comprehensive, interesting stories when I write. I am looking forward to roleplaying with you all very soon.

Now, I do have a few questions that I am unsure about. What kind of gear are we allowed to start out with (my character is going to be a mandalorian bounty hunter)? Can I have a ship off the bat or do I have to roleplay for that? And finally, how would you recommend I start out Nathan's time in the galaxy? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

• You can select any canon gear or "purchase and thing from the market place, (just post a request and the owner should grant you the purchase)

Can I have a ship off the bat or do I have to roleplay for that?

• Yes, anything under 300 meters (rules same as above for type) though I roleplayed for my first ship and loved it, can help ya with that if you want.

And finally, how would you recommend I start out Nathan's time in the galaxy? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

• Your options on that are endless, write a private personal story to set his background. Collaborate with another writer to have some fun or join a faction and just write into a thread head first. No real best way it is all what you like.

So is there a "starting credit" amount or just something believable? How much are credits actually worth in the galaxy?

I was thinking about starting out with a civilian variant sniper rifle, a powerful but low ammo pistol, and a chest plate of Beskargam (going with the "father died and so I inherited his old gear and beat up ship" trope)

Cool, now I Just have to think up a suitable shitty ship held together by duct tape and dreams. XD

Well, I'll certainly have to put some thought into Nathan's debut in the galaxy of bounty hunting.

One question, what is the difference between the Mandalorian Clans and The Mando'ade?

To the untrained eye, they will just be the same as when you have multiple Jedi or Sith Factions - after the same goal but with different ways of doing it. Check them out and see which one appeals to you or your character's views / morals / goals etc.
