- Modular Bomb Bay: The Nau'ul is capable of fitting a large variety of weapons within it's modular bomb bay. This weapons mount system allows the stealth bomber to complete a variety of combat missions, and giving a similar variety of options as the HA-2 Pike. Some weapons options include:
- Standard bomb payload of 20-30, including proton, and ion bombs. Can be launch individually, in clusters, or mass dropped.
- Heavy bomb payload of 8-15.
- Heavy missile payload of 2-6 depending on missile type.
- Torpedo payload of 10-15.
- Heavy torpedo payload of 4-6 depending on torpedo type.
- Potential for heavy cannon mounts.
- Heavy munitions payload.
- Payload modularity.
- Stealth.
- Limited defensive weaponry.
- Has to slow down to for baffles and Nightshadow to be effective, with Nightshadow only able to mask so much energy from scanners.
- Large silhouette from above and below.
Built using systems and principals developed in the Blackbird II, the Nau'ul Stealth Bomber XB-2 is an advanced heavy bomber capable of bringing a devastating amount of munitions to the battlefield. Fitted with multiple systems to make it effectively disappear from scanners, using a combination of jammers, Nightshadow, and CST's IJ-X1 engines. While she is slower running in stealth, and is vulnerable from the top and bottom thanks to it's large silhouette, the Nau'ul makes up for it in raw munitions carrying.
The bomber features a massive bomb bay capable of housing heavy ordinance, including "ship killer" weapons. The bomb bay is considered modular, and capable of housing many types of weaponry depending on the situation at hand. This has included some tests with cannon mounts. Overall, a craft well suited for its job as a heavy bomber.
