Laura Na'Varro
Giver of Crisp High Fives
THIS IS A REBRANDING OF INVICTUS AERONAUTICS, A TIER 3 CUSTOM COMPANY
Corporation Name: Na'Varro Systems Corporation
Headquarters: Ascension
Locations: Sullust, Druckenwell, Vergesso Asteroids
Operations: Shipbuilding, Vehicle Manufacturing, Armaments, Mining
Rationale: In the year 18ABY, a young Alen Na'Varro made a modest investment in beskar ore with his family's offworld finances. More than eight hundred years later, that investment turned quite the tidy profit. After a lengthy process of proving his identity through the courts, Alen managed to access the fruits of that investment and branched out into business. He acquired Invictus Aeronautics, a private starship design company in 835 ABY and spent the next five years rebranding and expanding its operations. On the downfall of the Fringe Confederation, Na'Varro sold his stake in the company to [member="Jared Ovmar"], who at the time was the primary stakeholder of Santhe Corp. Ovmar failed to utilise Invictus in any way, and on his return from death in 844 ABY, Na'Varro repurchased the company with his daughter Laura in mind, looking to pass it on to her when the time was right. But the Na'Varro family did not wish to limit themselves to starship production, and so Invictus Aeronautics was rebranded into the Na'Varro Systems Corporation.
Tier: 3
Description: Invictus Aeronautics began operating in early 803ABY, specialising in the design and production of commercial light freighters and luxury yachts. Operating out of offices on Annaj, the company became renowned for its sleek designs and developed a niche market. IVA freighters and yachts were a rare sight but became very trendy starships to own due to a surge in ownership by Coruscanti models and sports personalities. As such, the ships had a hefty price attached to them. They were, for all intensive purposes, for the elite. However, IVA proved to be just a trend, and though it maintained a small following, desire for their ships declined. Production was scrapped, and IVA began designing for other, larger aeronautics companies. That was until Alen Na'Varro stepped in.
Invictus began producing functional, tough starships for the Unknown Regions in mind, working closely with the Fringe Confederation. The company began branching out into mining operations and military designs, which took it in an entirely new direction. With the collapse of the Fringe imminent, Na'Varro moved headquarters from Annaj to Ascension, and opened two new production and design facilities in Druckenwell and Sullust. With political upheaval on his homeworld taking most of his time, Alen Na'Varro sold his share in the company to Santhe Corp.
On recovering his stake in the company from Jared Ovmar, Na'Varro rebranded the company into Na'Varro Systems Corporation and expanded its interests. Now focused mostly on deriving profits from their mining operation in the Vergesso Asteroids, NSC no longer builds with the Unknown Regions in mind, instead focusing on military and future concept production. NSC aims to improve the galaxy we live in and protect it. Slightly more ethical than its predecessor, Invictus, NSC is big on charity initiatives and focuses on protective rather than destructive military technology.
NSC is interested in building working agreements with other corporations within the Mid Rim. It accepts both private, commercial and government contracts for the development and refitting of starships, armaments, and vehicles, and actively campaigns for mining rights throughout the Mid and Outer Rim.
