Her appearance is modeled after that of her sisters, Verin and Mara Thawne. Though there are touches of both of her sisters in how she dresses and shows herself to the outside world, it is simple to see that Nayella takes care to appear more professional. This is an entirely conscious effort, and everything about how she carries herself, dresses, and even moves is carefully planned and orchestrated.
The look she takes on is orchestrated to make her appear less as an exacting professional and more of an executive outsider. Put into more simple terms, although she is the head of a data and technology company, Nayella takes careful measure in order to assure she still appears mostly normal. This makes he approachable, and more importantly likable in the public eye.
Every part of her wardrobe is planned around this, from her hair down to her shoes.

From a young age she has been trained by the Thawne Family to act as a public face, and much like her brother Felix she has undergone dozens of seminars and training classes in order to facilitate this role. Though not able to read people as naturally as her brother, Nayella has a rather charming away around her, drawing people into conversation and getting them interested in what she's speaking about.
Of course these skills are augmented by her general intelligence, and although she doesn't share the same mathematical aptitudes as Verin she is still quite gifted in her field of study. This allows her to perform her work quickly and diligently, causing her to excel in a galaxy filled with bureaucracy and other more challenging obstacles.

Having experienced no life outside of the Coratanni Cartel, and having learned from an early age from her mother Natalia that one must be ruthless, Nayella is completely and entirely devoted to herself. She is cutthroat, ruthless, and worst of all knows it. The young woman is incredibly deft at maintaining whatever 'mask' suits her most in the moment. She is able to go from innocent sweetheart to merciless executive in the beat of a heart.
A consummate liar, Nayella is easily able to traverse the people around her, instantly reading social cues and adapting to whatever and whoever is around her.
She is a complete social butterfly, excelling in situations where she is surrounded by people. Most of all however she takes a great amount of pleasure in controlling and forcing people to follow her will, using whatever measures are available to her at the time. Like most of her siblings, Nayella has a cruel streak at her heart which often rises to the surfaces when the opportunity presents itself.

Of course being of rather lithe and small figure, Nayella is perfectly capable of fitting in most small cabinets and closets. This is her most usual tactic when entering combat, though generally she'll also just run away completely if she senses things are about to turn against her favor.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
None of the other Thawne siblings know exactly where Nayella was from nor how their parents managed to actually add her to the family. What is known however is that she was brought to Rishi only a short time after her birth, and has been with the others since then. This means that she is one of the few who has been with Natalia and Slevin since a very young age and has actually grown up in the Cartel.
As one might expect, this has not lead to...stability.
Though Natalia and Slevin treat their children as the most precious of things, the environment they are brought up in is one filled with crime, violence, and lies. The Family itself is sacred, but everything else is up for grabs.
This fact is demonstrated over and over again to the Thawne children, and over the years they develop into what can really only be described as psychopaths, sociopaths, and absolute narcissists. Nayella of course is no exception to this rule, and in fact along with her sister Teslyn probably represents it better than most.
She is an absolutely self obsessed and ruthless individuals, raised to lean into her natural inclination to lie and deceive.
Her role within the family is similar to that of her brother Felix, though far more advanced. Instead of acting as a 'face' for the family Nayella was to become an entirely different person.
From the moment they thought she was ready, Nayella was given a false identity. Money, background, name, and even a fake family were all supplied to the young woman. From there it was her objective to grow and expand her fortunes outside of the Cartel, essentially becoming an actor for the Thawne's while not carrying her name.
Under the false name Alena Decelle, Nayella created a corporation that specialized in datamining and the application of this information. Founded on Koru Neimoidia, the company was an instant success within the Purse world, utilized by the rich to research their opponents and taking advantage of the companies various services.
Through this, Koru Analytics, and Alena Decelle, have become wildly successful, with the corporation involving itself in various government entities and elections throughout the galaxy.
