ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Bringing the Party: The Stork is capable of bringing a lot of soldiers and equipment to assault/capture targets.
  • Heavily Defended: The Stork is not meant to be an attacking craft, it is heavily armed to get its troops where they need to go. The armor can protect it against most smaller/light laser cannons and it can take a few direct missile hits before going down. Anything larger that gets through the advanced shields would devastate the dropship in a few direct hits. The laser cannons are capable of tracking and defending the dropship from starfighters, and the chainguns are meant to protect exiting soldiers from ground-based hostiles.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow: The Stork is incredibly slow due to its size and armor layout, and its maneuverability is not good either.
  • Carrier-Based: The Stork does not come equipped with a hyperdrive, and thus needs another vessel to ferry it around.

DESCRIPTION
At the request of Moff Teckla Tane, and by extension the Imperial Crusaders, the Naval Corp of Engineering put together the NCE-131/c Heavy Dropship, or the "Stork." It is a heavy dropship with enough armor, shields, countermeasures, and weapons to get it where it needs to go; although, it should still be supported by starfighters on the way down. A squadron of Storks is capable of bringing an entire company's worth of soldiers, a total of one hundred and twenty, and up to eight walkers or other heavy vehicles to supplement those forces.

The Stork is a force to be reckoned with and is a sign of a coming Crusade.

"Quality. Perfection. Order."
