DESCRIPTION
After the complete failure of NCE-MW01 due to being too large and heavy or being too small with not enough power, the idea to have a constantly rotating blade was thrown out of the window. While the idea to create a vibrosaw in a single hand was to any stretch of the imagination, amazing, with today's current technology level it was just not possible. However, the idea of having two separate, rotatable/swappable blades was greenlit, and thus the NCE-MW02 was born.
While keeping much of the original prototype's materials and outside construction, the insides, or where it matters, changed the most. Instead of having one large chainsaw blade, there are now two independent blades, with a small mechanism to swap them out in a small lever on the back of the hilt. Firstly, there is the straight-edged blade or the traditional blade. This side acts simply as a traditional vibrosword with the added monomolecular energy cord sheath increasing its damage exponentially. Because it is made out of songsteel it is lightsaber resistant and can spar or battle with one as if itself was a lightsaber.
Secondly, is the more brutal-looking side, the saw-edged blade. This side of the weapon acts as if a vibrosword and a vibrosaw had a child. While there is no continuous saw edge like a vibrosaw, thanks to the songsteel mono-molecular edge, the monomolecular energy corded larger teeth, and the ultrasonic vibration generator, it can act and feel like one. This side is meant to mainly aid in boarding actions thanks to being able to cut through durasteel like butter and disabling enemy equipment via chopping it off (like the barrel of a blaster). However, this side can still be used in combat like a traditional vibrosword thanks to is construction being of the same material as the traditional side. However, it is not as practical as the traditional blade is in combat because only the larger sets of teeth have the energy cord sheath on them, reducing its effectiveness and cutting prowess.
This weapon is hopefully the next step in the evolution of vibroblades, and maybe even vibrosaws, and is 'cutting-edge' enough to be a useful tool for the Imperial Paragons in their mission of defending the Empire. While this weapon can be massively produced for the Empire, but will only be produced at the behest of an individual Paragon or a higher commanding officer.

- The blade is 64cm (25in) in length, with a 20cm (8in) hilt. Total length is 84cm (33in).
- Weight: Average.
- The weight of the weapon is disproportional to its size and blade material, although being balanced to ensure proper usage. This disproportion is because the two blades in this weapon are highly advanced in nature and technology giving this weapon an unnatural heft.
- This weapon possesses two different blades for different uses, a straight-edged blade and a saw-edged blade. Both blades are made from high-quality songsteel mono-molecular edge, giving both blades an insanely sharp and damaging edge, and making them resistant to lightsabers, other vibroswords, and some energy weapons. The blades are not out at the same time and must be switched back and forth. However, if the user continuously switches back and forth in a small amount of time it can cause the weapon's rotate function to break down leaving the user with only one side or the other.
- 'Straight-Edged Blade' - This blade is purpose-built for combat and against other bladed weapons such as vibroswords or lightsabers. It is made up of sixteen equal-sized "teeth" making it able to go around the top and bottom of the weapon when swapped. Not only is it a songsteel mono-molecular-edged blade, but it also has a monomolecular energy cord "sheath" increasing its damage even more.
- 'Saw-Edged Blade'- This blade is meant more for utility than combat, although it is still made of the same material as the straight-edged and can be used for combat. The blade is made up of [18] larger teeth which are also equipped with individual monomolecular energy cords, [32] smaller teeth, and under both of them is a smaller straight-edged blade. NOTE: The 'diagrams' above and below, do not picture the correct amount of teeth as the teeth and in a "V" shape pointing towards the back of the blade.
- This side of the weapon is described as utility-based because it is the better blade to use against metals like durasteel to cut and damage. It can also be used against heavily armored individuals, buildings, and vehicles.
- This weapon is equipped with an ultrasonic vibration generator, which vibrates both blades at extremely high speeds, exponentially increasing the amount of damage caused by a single strike.
- Different Blades, Different Uses: This weapon is largely made up of two blades, similar in structure and material, but different in usage. This weapon was purpose-built for the Imperial Paragons and therefore is mainly meant for combat zones. Both blades are made of the same material and additions but have two distinct differences: The straight-edged blade is meant for all combat, while the saw-edged blade is meant for some combat, breaching/boarding actions, and in extreme cases survival (such as cutting down a tree).

- EMP/Ion: While this weapon comes equipped with a de-ionization system, it is still vulnerable to powerful and large-scale ion blasts. This would disable the swapping of the blades and the vibration generator.
- Stop Pressing the Button: The swapping function of this weapon allows it to perform well in a variety of situations, but pressing it too many times in a short period can cause the mechanism to give out possibly reducing your blade count from [2] to [1].
