Description: With the door open for collaborative works, Ayden spoke with the Lady Lorelei Darke about commissioning a new ship design. Designated the Nebulon B9, it was the first ship of the Nebulon line to carry gravity well projectors. A pair of gravity well generators were the center of focus for the design and necessitated additional space and power, nearly pushing the ship into the Cruiser category.
The B9 has two separate versions; a military version exclusively offered to the Protectorate and a civilian version offered on the open market. While the civilian version lacks the gravity well projectors and much of the firepower, it does boast an increased passenger and cargo capacity. Both versions possess a large number of anti-starfighter quad laser turrets to fend off harassing assault craft, while the military version boasts military-grade shields and additional turbolasers to give it some teeth against smaller capital ships. Ultimately, the B9 is designed to supplement the B7 in combat, rather than supplant it entirely.
