Need some Sword People

Now by that I mean I need two things. One, I'd like someone to help me in saber combat, since I've only had a little in the past. And the other is that I'd like help with a custom lightsaber to be made. One with a more sword-like hilt. Like this.

So if anyone can help with one or both please let e know.

I was thinking more in terms of the hilt looking like that. Although since JDF has pointed out I guess it might as well look like that one since it makes more sense to not be as flat as a regular sword.

Originally I tried having a loki scepter made, one that would be able to work against lightsabers, but it didn't work out. So I guess a cross-guard works good enough.

Something like this in appearance (Google search, find someone artsy to make you a nicer one). What would you want the hilt made from/what kind of crystal? Cause that will matter more than the hilt design.

I don't think the material would be all that different from normal sabers, just has to look like a normal sword hilt. But if it's too complicated I might just stick to the cross-guard pic like the one above. Just has to have the colors changed.

Oh, well that won't be useful for stopping other lightsabers, so its really just for show and shouldn't require anything. Grab an artsy person (I keep saying this because it doesn't describe me MSPaint4eva) and ask them to recolor the image for you.

Hey there, Nimue. Why not have a metal sword crafted and imbued with the Force? Then maybe learn Shii-Cho or whatever as it's based on old sword fighting.

My character, Daemos, is adept at metallurgy, and has NPC's that can help with the lightsaber aspect. I wouldn't mind helping either. Might be a bit slow on posting, but can design exactly what you want.

Ps. Also, you could, during posting of the weapon, simply have both pictures used currently in the thread stating one is the hilt while the other being basicay what it looks like.

I like it for a Dark Sider too, namely cause you all tend to duel more often and exotic weapons help give an edge. In a saberlock, you can use the quillions to stab just like a crossguard on a real sword. Yes, the quillions could be and often were sharpened for 'half-swording' and the murder stroke as it's called.

Well the saber itself is already made, but I can still use people to help me practice with it. Basically it boiled down to one of those new crosssabers from the new movie. But either way I do want to continue practice with combat so anyone you think works let me know.
