Well, here it is! Nefaron has officially gotten to 100 posts and is now my most successful character on Chaos. I have created (and subsequently deleted) several characters before who never got to this level of investment, so this is definitely a sign that something is going right.

That being said, I'd love to hear any feedback others might have for my Nefaron posts. Hit me with the good, the bad, the ugly, whatever it might be, I have no intention of slowing down with Nefaron anytime soon, so I want to see what improvements might be necessary to make him a truly exceptional bad guy!

First of all, congratulations. Its an important milestone and to last that long is very commendable.

But it is also not surprising. Nefaron is a very interesting Sith character, going into the darker aspects of Sith roleplay and embracing them is a challenge and requires a calm and stubborn pursuit. And you write it very well. Following your interaction with Veradun Sharr during the Kaggath and coming along you in Tendril of Darkness was an awesome experience and I am honestly super disappointed that it did not work out for the invasion to write with you again, but alas - more opportunities to come!

Please keep that dark, horror Sithy writing, it is truly inspiring to read and be a part of. I would love to give some specific areas of improvement, but for that I have not yet read enough, so compliments are all I can offer. For now.

We need to thread more together. And that is not optional.

Nefaron's a Lady Velvet fan, so you know he's cool.

Though our only interaction has been in the Zinder thread, I think you showcased what Nef is all about! He's clever in both words and actions, he's willing to switch up his tactics, and is wicked to the core. Your dialogue was superb, and though Nef saw Cora as a foe, he didn't talk over her, but engaged her. Your posts were a blast to read and easy to respond to, and I especially liked the bits of symbolism you used in this particular interaction – such as giving Cora a flower that only blooms at night.

I also admire folks who do open threads for the wider community to engage in – like you've done with City of Fear and Tendrils of Darkness. You created some great opposition that is threatening and compelling, but not completely overwhelming to the point where it cannot be combated.

OOCly, you've been super chill and very easy to work with. 10/10 would try to poison him again!

I'll be real with you - I haven't had a bad writing experience with you since we connected. Every single interaction IC has been thrilling; Nefaron is such a dark, twisted Sith character that truly embraces and embodies the depravity that one can descend to when fully committed to the dark side. I personally love reading (and writing) darker, more morbid stories and you feed into that love of mine with your posts! I feel so honored to be able to share in Nef's story with Veradun, and to have Nef shape my Nagai boy. I second what Cora said; your posts are well crafted and engaging, but not overwhelming in the slightest and are easy to interact with and respond to. Your storytelling is top tier, in my opinion. I look forward to writing more with you, that's for certain.

And for anyone who needs or wants a truly wicked and frankly spooky and horrific Sith to encounter, Darth Nefaron is my pick for you!

OOC, you have been one of the most chill, laid back people I've had the privilege of messaging/interacting with in Discord. I have a great time chatting with you, and you have been such a champ when discussion ideas and story plot points. 10/10 for that, all the way.

As a final note, I am so thrilled to see Nefaron getting recognition, and stepping into prominence as he rises in power. Your hard work in writing on him and putting forth the threads that you have, is really paying off. I really can't wait to see what heights your Sithy boy ascends to through all of this!

Since the City of Fear thread, I've been a fan of Nefaron and have also been following Into the Dark. I recall praising Nef to Veradun Sharr 's writer around that time, and even Kas thought highly of him shortly after, lol. I have an appreciation for darker characters and think you do an amazing job. I like the way you craft your prose, and it's good to see you getting more recognition now, as I believe you were away for a bit after the business on New Cov. Being a fan of The Rule of Two, I'm also eager to see what you have in store for the future!
