Description: This blade was forged and crafted by Xavka's own hands using the lessons taught to him during his childhood on his homeplanet of Iridonia. The blade was forged out of a highcarbon version of durasteel. With the metal first being drawn out from a billet to the correct length, the main edge was then beveled in, the force of the hammer serving to introduce the curve into the blade. From there, the initial edge and spine edge was loosely ground into shape so as to map out the final geometry of the blade. After the blade had the initial form ground in, the tang was draw out into a square shape. After heating the metal, a hole was pierced through the square before that opening was used to open up and manipulate the metal into a rough shape to begin forming the handle, a grinder was used to add the specific shape and to remove any excess metal. A smaller hole was then punched through part of the handle, where the grip plates would be set, in the shape of the previously made Force Crystal.
The sword was then heat treated, firstly being reintroduce to the flame before quenching in a bath of oil (the main spine of the blade was coated in a thin layer of clay before the quench, allowing for the metal beneath to cool slower, softening into pearlite and not the harder martensite of the rest of the blade), then finally being heated to bellow critical and left standing, vertically, in a clamp exposed to the open air. The blade was then introduced to different level of grit when brought back to grinding, the edges being finished up. During this entire process, the Force was being channeled into the sword.
After this point, the Force Crystal was set within the gap made for it within the handle and Xavka would spend the next day continuously channeling the Force as he sought to marry the latices of the Durasteel Metal. At the end of the process, the sword gained the property of seeming to have shadows flowing from it when the Force was channeled through it along with the permanent properties of becoming Lightsaber resistant, Blaster resistant, ever sharp and able to damage Force Spirits.
It was from this point that the grip plates would be fastened to the blade, through the Force once more being used to marry the two latices. Alchemy was then introduced at this point. Calling upon knowledge of the formation and creation of Sith Swords, Xavka chose to ignore the stage where the metal would be transformed into an alchemised and heavier metal, having already gained the resistance to lightsaber through copying the process of the ancient Jedi. As such, he immediately jumped to altering the magnetic polarity of the blade, ensuring that it would say forever clean of rust and dirt, reflect blaster fire, lasers and that it would be able to store and discharge Force Lighting.
Before applying the leather wrappings, with the the use of an adhesive, that would serve as a grip, Xavka took his time in inscribing a Sith Runic cluster upon the grip plate. The cluster was a basic Hexagon Cluster; five outer Runes surrounding a central Rune. For said central Rune, Xavka chose to use Vala'noria, the focusing Rune, so that he could determine which of the Runes within the Cluster would be used when the Cluster was activated. The five other Runes were: Pharnzerv, a Rune that would empower the others when he focused on them through Vala'noria; Eloy, a Rune that allow Xavka to inflict more damage with every strike of the blade; Inanna, a second Rune that would allow him to inflict more damage, building upon the effects of Eloy when they would be used together; Queli'dath, a Rune enabling Xavka to freeze anything that he could sink the blade into, simulating the effects of sever frostbite of flesh over the period of a few seconds and, finally, Velinar, a Rune that served in the almost exact opposite of Queli'dath as it would burn instead of freeze.
The final step was the naming of the sword and, after cutting his palm and allowing his blood to coat the blade, Xavka chose to name the weapons Nek Kait het res Neknivar, Ul'Zabrak for Dark Claw of the Moon; or Nek Kait, Dark Claw, for short.
