- Occlusive Dressing: GlueStat covering not only keeps the bandage/graft combination on the user, but it also makes it occlusive. - Chemical Debridement: The last layer of NeoDerm consists of jellified chemical debridement enzymes. This layer dissolves necrotic and injured tissue that might provide safe havens for infections and similarly destroys or seriously impedes the growth of invasive organisms such as bacteria. This results in faster overall healing the wound site with lower chances of systemic or local infections.
