- Twin barrels in a side by side bullpup configuration to keep the weapon small. The barrels fire alternatively when on full auto.

- Front of weapon houses sound suppression system and UV laser rangefinder, this weight on the front reduces the barrel climb when firing on full auto

- Excellent penetration from the small, fast moving rounds but actual damage is minimal as the wounds tend to be narrow and clean.
- Penetration - The weapon does less damage to soft tissue than other similar weapons due to the narrow projectiles, but this narrow cross section coupled with high speed gives the weapon disproportionately high penetration against armour
- Very High rate of fire - Two barrels pumping out cylindrically stacked mag needles gives it excellent rate of fire
- Silent death - The sound suppression technology added to the front of the weapon makes it absolutely silent when firing
- Personal range - The relatively lightweight rounds lose energy quickly leaving it best suited as a personal defence weapon with an effective range of around 50-75m depending on the user
- Sound Suppression field - The noise cancellation is inexact as it was an addition by Hex, it projects bubble of around 25cm radius around the emitter through which sound cannot pass. This could lead to you trying to shout an order that never gets heard, or not hearing an approaching enemy if you keep the gun too close to your head.
- Unusual Ammunition - The gun uses an unusual Ammunition from a supplier that no longer trades, you can get it on the dark-holonet, but if you are thinking of restocking on the fly or when traders can't deliver, think again.
- Surgical wounds - The easiest way to describe the damage this gun causes is being stabbed by an ice pick or stiletto knife, it hurts, it would put most enemies down, but for a larger, tougher enemy, a single neater and less traumatic wound might not be enough.
Hex was not happy when her best friend and roommate was encircled and ambushed by gorilla brained corpsec lackeys and wanted to give her one extra tool to do something about it. And it just so happened to be life day.
Hex rummaged through her old kit and grabbed some parts on Altier and was able to modify and old security forces pistol to suit her friend well, including a powder pink job on the metal casing. This gun was picked by security forces specifically because it left easily treatable wounds, despite being able to punch through the sorts of armour that a corporate security officer might face. Now those traits would work for Daiya
She removed an old micro-ion launcher from under the gun, they were mostly useless anyway, and added both a sound dampener to the weapon and a UV laser rangefinder, because she happened to have one spare.
She built the gun, gathered up all the ammo she could muster and packed it into a box to leave under the twisted green pipework they called a tree.
