SPECIAL FEATURES

• Hidden Blades - Mechanically activated songsteel blades snap out from the gauntlets, able to transfer the wearer's thrust into a solid, piercing strike.
• Chamber Slot - Poisons, toxins, and other substances can be loaded into the gauntlets using micro-discs (a vial-like container). The blade will then deliver whatever is loaded into the gauntlet into the victim's body on contact.
• Civil Defense - A cortosis weave lines the gauntlet to provide protection when engaged with a lightsaber wielding opponent.
• Force Imbued - Witches of the Solanaceae imbued these gauntlets with power to knock one's foes back and obscure their sight.
• Vibroblade Capable - An ultrasonic vibration generator allows the wearer to enable or disable the vibroblade functionality.

STRENGTHS

• Never See or Hear It Coming - The retractable and extended hidden blade makes for an effective assassination weapon guards and the mark won't see coming. Expert craftsmanship has practically eliminated the sound of the weapon being extended, and the mono-molecular edge will ensure it never dulls as it slips easily into the target.
• Never See Its Potential - The songsteel blade will abide even a lightsaber-wielding opponent; and the cortosis weave will cause most blades to suffer irregularities or even snap off until reignited, providing an opportunity for the assassin to strike. And if a stab alone isn't sufficient, the assassin can also add a toxin to the mix to debilitate or neutralize their mark.
• Never See Me Leaving - An imbuement allows the wearer to cross a pair of gauntlets together and call upon the power to push enemies back and obscure their vision for a short time. A burst of telekinetic energy can radiate outward in all directions or in a specific direction guided by the wearer's perception of her foe's location. Meanwhile, a smoke-like cloud will fill a five meter radius to allow an assassin to strike and/or make an expedient withdrawal.

WEAKNESSES

• Inner Workings - Sufficient physical abuse suffered by the gauntlets may cause the inner workings to break, which may prevent the hidden blade from extending or any loaded substance from being delivered by the blade.
• Intimate Weapon - The assassin must be within arm's reach of the target, often placing them well within their defense perimeter. A pre-planned escape route is recommended.
• Loading and Unloading - The poison, toxin, and other substance delivery method requires the use of micro-discs inserted into the gauntlet. If the wearer loses them, they run out, or they're unable to insert a new one, the wearer will just have to rely on stabbing their mark to death the old fashion way.
• No Smoking Zones - Conditions that suppress, nullify, or cancel Force effects can prevent or limit the telekinetic blast and/or conjured smoke cloud from working as intended.

DESCRIPTION
When Shalita Verd, an unconfirmed assassin, joined the Solanaceae seeking a deeper understanding of herself and the world around her, it only seemed appropriate that the Witches supply her with new equipment to ensure she lived long enough for the training to pay off. Vytal Noctura, Nightmother of the Coven, directed a number of craftsmen in their number to develop the instrument based on Shalita's current gear. Though they were also afforded this opportunity to add a little 'extra' by imbuing the gauntlets with power for a quick retreat (or strike in a crowd without being seen).
