- Neuromesh is in many ways comparable to the tissue of particularly advanced organic brains, primarily a vast (or not so vast, depending on the specific instance of use) network of neurons specially-engineered for peak performance, speeding up the action potential to the very limits of organic existence in the process; some specialised cells even make use of radiation or light to literally communicate faster than lightning.
- Neuromesh can be used to facilitate communication between devices/systems or to construct organic data-brains known as Neurocores.
- Quick Thinking: Neuromesh allows for exceptionally fast transmission of information, cutting down reaction times and expediting processes.
- Vacuum of Space: Neuromesh isn't all that much more resilient than your average brain - exposure to the elements/vacuum is a bad idea.
Neuromesh is a general term for specialised biocircuitry derived from the genome and neural patterns of Greystone's Neurocogitators; it is largely analogous to technological alternatives with some important differences, notably unusually fast transmission speeds, a weakness to anything that would kill your average organic brain, and the obvious fact that it is grown/cultivated rather than manufacturer on an assembly line.
Developed with the assistance of Sloan Multistellar's bioengineers, the material was originally intended primarily as a component of Greystone's own esoteric products - as often happens, however, the decision was made to begin selling it to just about anyone with the credits to pay.
As always, those lacking in credits can compensate the Netherworld-based company in other, more peculiar ways.
