- Contains actual alcohol as part of the mixture, along with flavoring dependent on brand and type.
- Nepenthé: For the Neutralizer who always wondered what it would be like to get absolutely wasted (or just a little bit buzzed) we have a product for you. Nepenthé is a drink which contains sub-particles that temporarily alter Neutralizer programming, mimicking states of inebriation ranging from blackout drunk to merely tipsy. There are variations which can also mimic a spice high, though these are less common and harder to come by.
- Cheap: Neutralizer Nepenthé can be purchased at a bargain price, though there are more high-end brands which cost more.
- Soma: For some people, being drunk isn't fun. Nepenthé gets rid of many of the nastiest aspects of inebriation, but you'll still be stumbling around and slurring your speech like a drunken fool. You also probably shouldn't consume this before or during combat, as it scrambles several Neutralizer systems.
- Neutralizer Only: This particular type of Nepenthé is designed for House Io Neutralizers, and therefore will not work on other droids. Or people, for that matter.
Originally Nepenthé was a lubricant designed to deliver helpful software patches to droids. But the engineers of House Io have found an even more creative (and bizarre) use of the technology. Neutralizers have senses other droids do not, such as taste, touch, and smell, as well as the capacity to enjoy them; as a result, there is a demand for recreational products catered to Neutralizers. Neutralizer Nepenthé is one of these products meant to satisfy their ever-increasing appetites for pleasure and fun, as its sub-particles contain software patches which can temporarily mimic intoxication.
